  1. The CJS is a joke and until they drastically increase prison capacity it will remain so. But, you are missing the point. Just because the police are powerless to deal with illegal immigrants doesn't mean that they turn a blind eye to everything else. Wilf didn't answer my last question. He has a habit of dodging awkward points. The protesters had been to court several times and been told to stop. They ignored those orders and now find themselves in prison. Not for protesting, but for breaching injunctions. You could make the case that in forcing the authoritie's hands they are now taking up
  2. Come on Kev. You've been on here long enough to know that nobody is going to pay £6 for a knife when thry can pay £150 for one that does exactly the same job.
  3. I think you have completely lost the plot. I'm leaving this with you. There is only you can sort out what is going on in your head.
  4. As I said before more than once; it isn't an either / or. Just as a matter of interest; how many times would you tell your children "No!" before taking some meaningful action?
  5. So you don't think that three or four previous court appearances and ignoring injunctions had anything to do with it?
  6. So you can as a member of the public basically decide whether actions of protesters in blocking the roads including preventing emergency services from attending incidents can be classed as acceptable? We all saw the footage even if you didn't. Other members of the public would disagree with your opinion, so what makes you think that you are right? And where do you draw the line; making you late for work is OK, but what about missing a flight for a family's holidays or not getting home to be able to look after your child? You don't make up what is acceptable and what isn't on the hoof bec
  7. Of course they are harming people. They wouldn't let ambulances through the blockade FFS! I notice that you are continually dodging answering the questions about whether you would expect police action if a crime was committed against you and yours. As I said; you are out of step. There was a lot of public opinion asking for tougher actions against the protesters. There was only one voice on here supporting them. The same voice that would strip any African migrant of any rights whatsoever.
  8. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about these days. You are like the soldier who complains that everyone else is out of step. The immigration crisis is largely unsolvable due to the UK having to obey international law and protocols. The insulation issue is a group of people holding the general public to ransome and continually breaking the law. They have had enough chances yet continued so they only have themselves to blame for spening Chrimbo at Her Majesty's pleasure. You cannot keep hiding behind the immigration situation every time. If someone harmed your family you w
  9. You are blind to anything that dosen't involve punishing migrants. Look at what you have posted. It is basically saying that we shouldn't prosecute anyone until the migrant situation is resolved. So, someone comes through your door and trashes the house should not bd prosecuted because in your eyes the Africans aren't getting punished. I don't know what has got into you lately, but you are spouting some total bollox.
  10. When I make curry I blitz the onions, garlic, grated ginger, pepper, tomato puree and the spices with just enough oil to make a paste. I fry the meat in the paste then add veg and liquid like yoghurt or coconut milk before adding the veg and puting it in the slow cooker. Sometimes I freeze the paste for when we go off in the motorhome, but you could vac pack it and it would last several days. If you did that with the stuff you needed to make a stew or casserole you could fry the meat in the paste in one pan then boil the raw veg in a little water before mixing in the paste and meat.
  11. I didn't realise it wss one or the other. Strange world you live in.
  12. So by that you are saying that anybody can break any law and not be prosecuted? Interesting concept. Or is it just white people can be sure of immunity?
  13. If I knew the rules I would. Same in Cyprus. I found the site of a village that from the pottery I found dated from BC to at least the middle ages. Over there metal detecting is banned. I don't know what the rules are in France. If nothing else I'd be able to find the ledgers and swimfeeders I've lost ?
  14. In t'olden days Barnsley matches didn't kick off until 3:15 to allow the spectators time to sup up and get to the ground. It wasn't a problem when they were in the old fourth division as by the time James Alexander Gordon got to division 4 the result was in.
  15. Monday's Mole Patrol follows the route of Richard the Lionheart. He spent more time over here than in England. This is the chateau in Chalus where he received a fatal injury. The chateau contained some gold artifacts that had been found locally. King Dick was planning a heist and while he was casing the joint someone let off a speculative shot with a crossbow and the bolt hit him in the shoulder. He died from the infection a few days later. His body was carried to Aixe sur Vienne and put on a boat that took him straight through my barbel swims down the river to Fontevraud where his father is a
  16. Looks like they have imprisoned at least one of them. No doubt Wilf will be suitibly enraged.
  17. The problem can be in locating the carcase(s) and getting access to them. I have heard of people who rent gites out at €1,500+ per week losing over a month's business due to them or a French pestie dropping poison blocks under cupboards for loir (edible dormouse) in summer. I have customers who did that last week for a single mouse problem. The mouse hasn't been seen since and they are on holiday for a week now. My bet is there will be a rancid smell from within the sofa when they get back. Edit: I didn't know about the gel Dekers mentioned, but a good covering of rock salt does t
  18. One thing no one has mentioned is regarding the use of poisons indoors. For me tbat is a no no. As others have pointed out, rats use spaces between floors and walls to get about and that can be where they nest too. Poison makes them feel unwell and they often take to their beds to die. A dead rat in a cavity can create a terrible smell for weeks.

  22. It is the only way to stop them coming in large numbers. The Human Rights Act also needs suspending. The way that Russia, Belarus and Turkey are using migrants, the sooner a solution is agreed the better.
  23. It isn't that simple. You cannot force them back or damage or sink their boats as that is not lawful. You cannot return them to France as they won't accept them. France sees it as a British problem as the generous benefits system is what is attracting them. The only way is to set up refugee camps offshore like the Aussies did.
  24. China. By the slow route which is why it is free. Usually 5 weeks delivery except in February when they shut down for a month.
  25. I used an Ultrafire cree torch when I worked nights. Solid metal construction, 800 lumens, four modes and pocket sized. The torch, two rechargeable batteries, belt holster and a charger would cost you about a quarter of your budget. It was so good all the lads on my shift bought them. If you ordered now from dealxtreme you might just get it for Chrimbo.
