No longer have BT and although it’s a decent match up, I won’t bother shelling out for it. Heard BT and Warren making out they’re doing the world a favour not making this PPV. Shows where we’ve got to with ripping off punters.

Thought you were dying there and trying to book the reaper, and then there’d be an end to these nonsensical threads. Guess not..., but God speed ?? Atb. Pesky

But by most as a genius, and one of the most gifted players to play the game. RIP Diego ??

Have had a pair of Brasher (think Berghaus bought them over) Hillmaster boots for years. Robust enough for hill walking and very lightweight. I prefer a leather upper to gore-tex etc. When I replace then I’ll look for another well made, lightweight boot with a decent sole (Vibram usually a safe bet). Try a few pairs on before you buy, and wear the socks you’ll be walking in to make sure they fit right. Should be plenty deals about once the shops are allowed to open up again.

No need for talk of Christmas now, it’s still five weeks away ffs. This thread should be locked until December?

Don’t think ‘cheap’ and ‘Apple’ belong in the same sentence.

Nearly choked on my tea ???

Quite enjoyed a docufilm thingy I watched on Sky documentaries called ‘The Biggest Little Farm’. About a couple in California trying to set up an eco-farm, and their battle with the various pests and predators. Not exactly selling it I know, but it’s well shot, and I liked it ?

Mainstay in a world beating Liverpool team, and a top, top goalie..., although his greatest achievement for me was letting King Kenny’s shot through his legs at Wembley. RIP Ray.

Clinical finish by Crawford.

Feeding on fruit or nuts blown off a tree?

The slomo of him going, going, gone is quality. Speccy lad was right though, these Go-pro things in the hands of the wrong people turn them into even more annoying sanctimonious w4nkers than they were before.

Beamish museum?

The guy’s a fruit and nut case. Can’t stand him or that crowd he married into. He should stick to what he’s good at, although the way politics is going, I wouldn’t rule out him getting elected.

Danny Williams stopping his opponent whilst fighting with only his left hand. Remember watching this and getting off my seat when the guy went down. Brave display. Can’t believe it was 20 years ago ?

“Nonsense”? We’re probably a fortnight away from 1000+ deaths a day. You can argue all day about how this crisis has been/should be handled, but I’d hardly call it nonsense.

Watched a ‘trailer’ for tonight’s programme on Breakfast this morning, that was enough for me. A few sportsmen up here have succumbed to it, or will soon. Big Doddie Weir (ex-Scotland Rugby Union international) can’t have long left, but has met it head on with the same tenacity as Burrow has. Fcuking horrible and often lingering way to die, and especially cruel that such a strong and proud man has to be reduced to that in front of their wife and kids. As been said, wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

So what you’re saying is he should be more multi-cultural? ?

Brilliant watch that. Elk too slow to turn.., wonder if it knew the bear was there. Also, awesome tactics by the bear, wore the elk down whilst staying away from the pointy bits, then once it got it off its feet it looked like it kept turning it to make sure it drowned.

One question asked at the daily brief yesterday was why the numbers of +ve cases in North of England and Scotland are so much higher than down South. No real explanation offered, but I wondered if this was maybe a sign that a degree of ‘herd immunity’ already exists in the population. Certainly pre-lockdown I think the virus was much more prevalent in the South. Think Vallance said yesterday of the peak months back, that as many as 100k a day may have been infected too. A lot of what’s happening now looks haphazard and even reckless depending on your viewpoint, but I think that the ‘shee

Scottish rabbits are fcukin rapid. Not like the ones below the border. I hear rabbits up on the dales run towards the dog to get to the front of the line for the ‘100 bag’ shot for Facebook.

Like everything else now, social media has changed the world. It’s become competition and a copy-cat thing where grandiose narcissism is the new norm. For me, these types of pictures are the olden days equivalent of lining up 100 dead rabbits on the high street, face beaming, saying ‘look at me, I’m a great hunter’. It’s bound to piss off some people, so why do it? Whatever happened to just going about your business quietly.

You learn manners, or the lack of, from the people you look up to as a kid. Often that’s your parents, but not always. Cost nothing as they say, and lacking manners often comes off as rude, so I always mind mine. It’s nice to be nice ??

Lionel Messi. He is the best I’ve seen, and may ever see. Lovely wee film of some of the highlights.
