Brilliant watch that. Elk too slow to turn.., wonder if it knew the bear was there. Also, awesome tactics by the bear, wore the elk down whilst staying away from the pointy bits, then once it got it off its feet it looked like it kept turning it to make sure it drowned.

One question asked at the daily brief yesterday was why the numbers of +ve cases in North of England and Scotland are so much higher than down South. No real explanation offered, but I wondered if this was maybe a sign that a degree of ‘herd immunity’ already exists in the population. Certainly pre-lockdown I think the virus was much more prevalent in the South. Think Vallance said yesterday of the peak months back, that as many as 100k a day may have been infected too. Scottish rabbits are fcukin rapid. Not like the ones below the border. I hear rabbits up on the dales run towards the dog to get to the front of the line for the ‘100 bag’ shot for Facebook.

Like everything else now, social media has changed the world. It’s become competition and a copy-cat thing where grandiose narcissism is the new norm. For me, these types of pictures are the olden days equivalent of lining up 100 dead rabbits on the high street, face beaming, saying ‘look at me, I’m a great hunter’. It’s bound to piss off some people, so why do it? Whatever happened to just going about your business quietly.

You learn manners, or the lack of, from the people you look up to as a kid. Often that’s your parents, but not always. Cost nothing as they say, and lacking manners often comes off as rude, so I always mind mine. It’s nice to be nice ??

I can tell you what I wouldn’t do, and that’s stick a whole load of videos on youtube saying what I could, or was going to do. The money thing was more about the endless amount of these sort of videos doing the rounds..., rather than Fury. How did he make his fortune?

Both a pair of dicks and as bad as each other. What’s with all the back and forth on youtube all the time? If you’re going to have a fight, go and have it. The gypsies are big into these youtube ‘calling out’ videos. I think it’s just about views and making money. Don’t seem to actually fight much anyway. Arseholes, the lot of them.

I’d be interested to know how this sold..., and Sky still want £20 to watch a repeat today ffs. I already pay plenty for Sky sports, and I don’t mind paying a bit extra for the elite level match ups, but this is a piss-take pure and simple. And imho I think it’s unsustainable. Hearn and Sky have done a lot over the last decade to raise the profile of boxing, and I’m sure boxers have done well out of it, but this smacks of greed and for me is too far and may undo a lot of good work that’s gone before.

Watched bits of a few, I think he’s a bit of a bawbag.., as are most of the fame hungry ex-jailbirds who he interviews. I’m not really impressed by that sort of thing.

Haven’t bought a paper in years. I doubt many young-uns do now, so I reckon the likes of The Sun are a dying breed and will disappear before grouse shooting ever does. I also think it’s widely recognised that managed grouse moorland creates a valuable ecosystem which would disappear without that management.., and so a lot those who maybe aren’t in favour of the shooting, can see the benefit of it continuing as is. Can’t be doing with all this ‘who’d have beaten who’ stuff.., always going to be conjecture with no end or winner in any debate. Funny seeing the Fury cheerleaders out telling us he’s the best of all time again. Fact is his achievements amount to a good technical performance against a good but ageing champion, and victory against a ‘champion’ every man and his dog reckoned would come unstuck against top level opposition. For me, victory over Joshua would cement his legacy as the best in his era though, but lets wait and see the fight first.

I wasn’t rating Trump, or any other government’s handling of the pandemic..., maybe another day. The point I tried to make was that this nonsense has removed the criticism of them from the front pages. And for what? I’ve got to confess that I haven’t paid much attention to this George Floyd business, but haven’t seen anything that proves there was a ‘racial’ motive to his death. It can’t be argued that the unnecessary heavy handling of his arrest caused his death..., but police brutality and racism are two completely different issues. Very convenient timing all this, and has taken a lot of focus and news coverage off of how the Covid pandemic has been handled, not only of Trump, but governments around the world including our own. A cynical person might say that it’s been orchestrated. ? And when the second wave hits they can blame it all on #BLM. Double fcukin bubble. -
Or they find bodies. He’s been linked with the disappearance of a little boy in the same resort now some years before. Sometimes it just takes time and a bit of luck, or the beast to fcuk up. Think of the likes of Black, Tobin etc. Cases like this the authorities should have access to all methods in order to extract the truth from this animal.

German police seem pretty convinced they’ve found who took and killed Madeleine McCann. I sincerely hope they have, and the truth finally comes out.
