  1. I think he’s funny. Different strokes etc.
  2. This guy knows…, 85% of you have got to go…
  3. I can’t see how ‘they’ can force a diet on anyone. Doctors and scientists have been saying forever that we need to eat more of this and less of that, nobody pays any attention. IF the climate is influenced or at risk by our diet, I’d say it’s more to do with just how many of us there are now, and by how much the average person ‘over’ eats, rather than what we eat. Over 8 billion of us now, 4 times more than 100 years ago, with maybe 20% obese and the third world racing to keep up. If ‘big pharm’ want to help they need to figure out how to get arsenic into big macs and Greggs sausage rolls. Onl
  4. And of more recent fame via social media, the Scottish girl Andrea Bisset whose expletive filled driving lessons cracked up loads of people, has a part in the film. Good for her.
  5. Film made about the life of John Davidson, the Scottish boy they made a documentary about in the 1980’s when nobody knew what Tourettes syndrome was. Getting really good reviews.
  6. Useless b*****ds.., and specifically those in managerial roles. Daily I come across incompetent people who don’t know what they’re doing, and either don’t even know, or won’t admit that that’s the case. They make bad decisions simply because they’re paid to make decisions, and often when shit goes South, try and throw others under the bus. I’ve always believed in the ‘Peter Principle’, which basically works on the premise that many organisations reward performance and competency with promotion, which then leads to the next level of difficulty and responsibility, but fails to adequately ensur
  7. When I was a kid they had special hospitals they’d lock these types up in, then came austerity and they turned them out for ‘care in the community’. The specky one, well you just wouldn’t get tired of punching that boat would you…, all the time screaming “you just got Kaned”.
  8. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. 56 years old and still brilliant.
  9. Heard some English guy use the term ‘baby mother’ the other day, in a take on the American ‘baby mama’. Just fcking stop please.
  10. I’m 53 and know a load of guys my age had or still have major issues with it. Coke was about when I was younger but it’d be mostly ecstasy and maybe speed that we’d take (late 80’s early 90’s). Taken it plenty but infrequently back then, but thankfully by the time it hit in a big way I was starting a family and out the road of it. I get why people use so much, but it’s the road to ruin for many. Fcuk knows how bad it’ll be in years to come.
  11. A Scottish farming podcast. Watched this episode the other day with two 14 yr old twins and their 10 yr old brother. Incredible maturity and knowledge for some so young. What a great upbringing for kids. Skip to about 42.30 you’ll see what I mean *Warning, no subtitles*
  12. People who talk fondly about a TV show you missed, like an in joke you know absolutely fcuk all about…, and by the time you get on it the moment has totally passed. W4nkers them.
  13. Dead Man’s Shoes (Film 4) Been meaning to watch this for a few years now and finally got round to it. Really enjoyed and would recommend.
  14. What even are the ‘Epstein files’? Is it all the police documentation from their investigation into him, Maxwell or both? If so I don’t think these should ever be opened to the public.

    Hoopoe

Only ever seen one in 53 years (in the UK)
  16. I know, most people are. Was watching the Ryder Cup and I think most of the biggest bangers in the states are in there.
  17. Americans. Okay, not all 350 million of them, just the loudmouth blow hard ones that love the sound of their own voice…, which might actually be most of them.
  18. On a job with a some rope access techs a few years ago, couple of them trying to ‘out danger’ each other telling of the various bridges, masts etc. they’d working on. I showed them that video with Dibnah swinging about in the wind at the top of a 200’ chimney in a bosun’s chair.., not a safety harness or ‘two points of attachment’ in sight. We bred men different in those days, granted a few had the ‘half a day out with the undertaker’ but removing the risk from everything dulls the wits and creates complacency. That’s the price I suppose.
  19. Seen a couple of the Gerry Cinnamon ones, Americans are on a different planet so not sure it even registers the same. I’m not even a fan of him but watching him on TV at TRNSMT a few years ago is maybe as jealous as I’ll get of the young ones today. Taps aff getting mad with it in the sunshine with all your mates singing “here we, here we, here we fcking go”!
  20. So I guess no-one believes the two Coreys then? Hollywood is full of them, but Sheen is a legend? To be honest I don’t know what to believe, but don’t know why a kid would make such a claim.
  21. Friday traffic. Life’s little sting in the tail at the end of a long week at work. Literally everyone else on the road is a wanker.
  22. Eubank v Benn II. Wasn’t fussy for it first time but admit it was a good fight to watch, and so will watch the second. Why though does it need to have all these ‘pressers’ in the build up, with the bickering and the insults. Hearn has been selling every bleeding fight like this for years, and a lot of it is turd polishing and trying to pass fights off as diamonds. It lacks any sort of class and embarrasses the sport in my opinion. Whilst I’m on the soap box.., ‘rehydration clauses’…., shouldn’t they be called dehydration clauses? In the toughest sport in the world, where a man relies on s
  23. The Firm (1988). I must’ve watched this at the time but have dissociative amnesia. Quite possibly the biggest load of shite I have ever seen.
  24. Nothing would surprise me. Kids or not they should have thrown away the key.
