Prograis feet in treacle from the first bell, timing out and left what power he had at 140lb. Benn has work rate but not much else. Neither are elite level, but Benn has still to get the memo. Maybe he will in his next fight.

Gone with Jagwar and Oscar’s Brother. My 4 picks for the Masters made the cut too, so hopefully at least a couple place.

White collar boxing, no thanks. Tommy Fury is a human sleeping tablet, with all the wit and charisma of a potato. Hearn and DAZN can shove this shite all the way up his gilded arse.., no better than stealing money from the mentally impaired.

Beautiful morning yesterday, was out early for a wander. Bird song everywhere, and a real thrill was walking a grass road verge and seeing song thrushes every 20-30 yards collecting beaks full of worms, so presumably have chicks hatched now. Must’ve seen a dozen at least. Felt like spring was really in full swing now. Today we’ve had black skies, high winds and squalls full of heavy hail, sleet and snow. Happy Easter

Think it’s like all solar, it’s a long term investment and will take years after the initial outlay before you see any sort of financial gain, or break even. Hence the reason it hasn’t really caught on or been widely rolled out without government grants or by people who can afford £10k’s to feel like they’re saving the planet. Those things in the photo are on a roof and would be nicked in five minutes round my way. Fcuking ugly things to have around your house too.

Only seen clips of Wilder v Chisora, but it looked pretty poor fare. Apparently Wilder is ‘back in the mix’…, Jesus wept. The sooner Itauma or the next generation come in and clean up this sorry mess the better. When I look back on this generation of heavyweights the only one who I think even gets a mention in a wider conversation down the line will be Usyk. I’ll be glad to see the back of Wilder, Fury, even AJ.

100% the same thing. It’s hard wired in men to compete with one another. Whether it’s who could lay the best brick, and the fastest, laying down good weld on price work, the farmer ploughing a straighter furrow than his neighbour, good and honest work was revered. And sport, whether it’s who’s the fastest or strongest or who can throw/kick/hit a ball the furthest, or the most accurately, all ‘invented’ through mens natural desire to compete. We all compete and so respect is given to those that excel.., just as long as it’s won fair and square.

Funny little video, but like so much that is funny, it’s rooted in truth. Best quote in the video was at the end.., ”talking is for women”.., and it is. This whole new age bullshit that men should all be sharing their emotions and crying on each others shoulders is part of the emasculation of men. And the same ideology that promotes the idea that equality of women is proving that women can compete and be as good as a man at everything…, even though the evidence of your eyes tells you different. And that’s okay, women are beautiful, intelligent, caring creatures and the glue that holds fam

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man Right, not withstanding the iffy accents I loved probably the first three series, but then like a lot of these things it became a victim of its own success and so they just have to milk it by making more, but by then the original idea has been done and the new plots are weaker and characters sort of become parodies of themselves. I’d put off watching the film as it’s had so much hype that I thought it had to disappoint…, and I wasn’t wrong. Won’t spoil it but, way too much of Tommy’s soul-searching, demon fighting nostalgia and not enough action or a pl

Watched highlights of the launch earlier. First thought was that the whole thing could be AI, and I probably wouldn’t have a scooby-doo. Sign of the times.

All self inflicted. Usual fcukwits filling jerry cans etc. trying to stay ahead of prices rising a pound or two. And I can clearly remember that for 100 years Scotland could refine crude and produce its own fuel, until Grangemouth was closed last year.., and whilst a ‘nationalist’ government looked on. Fcuking treachery.

Monster: The Ed Gein story. 8 parts on Netflix. Based on his story, I’ll confess I’d never heard of him, but seems he was one very sick puppy. Worth a Google even if you don’t watch the show.

And don’t have names like Barnes, Wright, Cole, Campbell etc. Reckon England could field a team of names that could sneak into the ACoN

International friendlies should be stopped in my opinion. Often the most pedestrian and turgid of spectacles. Clubs don’t want them, the players don’t need them, the supporters get robbed by them. The FA’s bank accounts are probably the only winners. I get the national coaches want time to work with their squads to assess personnel and tactics, but didn’t Tuchel take about 35 players to train? That’s three and a bit teams! And the appear to have very little influence on how a team will set out or perform at a major tournament.

Just watched the C4 documentary about the police investigation. No surprise to find the two culprits were thicker and more dense than the trunk of the tree. What was a shock was just how much of a treacherous grassing b*****d the Daniel Graham guy was. Hopefully he’ll get a few slaps inside for that.

Decent win for Moses Itauma at the weekend. Boxing’s about levels and you’ve got to move through them to find where you’re at, but for me this guy looks to have all the attributes to be a real handful for most if not all of the current crop…, and think a few might retire rather than face him. I don’t blame them.

I thought the documentary was fascinating…, kind of a once in a lifetime thing for the coppers and like every birthday and Christmas present come all at once. Think there were a lot of Scottish guys, and guess from the whole of the UK scattered to the continent and the likes of Dubai the minute they knew it was compromised. Been over five years now and they’re still tracing and extraditing off the back of what was found. Well worth a watch for anyone who missed it.

Always said it was like the emperors new clothes.., everyone could see the truth but were terrified to say it. Some will say that common sense prevailed, but it didn’t. Good people such as Riley Gaines, Sharon Davies, JK Rowling and more put their reputations, careers and even personal safety on the line to fight for women’s rights. I salute all of them. The fairer sex indeed

Funny, but the same sh!t happening all over Europe., just with worse accents and patter Anyone coming here to claim asylum should be automatically deported if convicted of any crime. People coming here legally should effectively be on probation for 10 years, any conviction (outwith minor driving offences) and they should be expelled indefinitely. There are organised gangs of Roma types shoplifting and trafficking beggars up and down the country, why the fcuk don’t we give the police and judiciary the power and resource to eradicate this? No wonder the Russians don’t take us seriously.

Wonky fruit and veg.., and the way TV chefs, supermarkets etc. try and sell this shit as some sort of eco-heroism, or the equivalent of rescuing a puppy. It’s all just a big con. You don’t see KFC advertising their new range of family bucket made from mutated chickens. Why the fcuk would I want to buy a three legged carrot that takes three times as long to peel as a big straight one? Idiots.

Fair point definitely. I have just watched it. I actually get where some of it comes from, the fashion that is demonising of white heterosexual men in certain sections of society is unsettling to some. I felt the tikkytokky guy came across as immature and a bit insecure, but guess kids won’t see that. Social media platforms have the ability to amplify opinion out of proportion to reality if no-one puts out any counter argument. I’d treat these freak shows no different to the tranny pedlars, or the race baiters and either ignore or ridicule them. My boy is 16, and I think very similar to h

I keep going to watch it but can’t seem to face the challenge. Guess I must be a beta Seriously though, the premise isn’t new, just the platforms and magnitude is. I see these influencers as attention seekers, narcissists full of their own importance. And whilst there are mugs prepared to listen to them, then they’ll continue to think they matter. And the women are no better, take that bint who’s now famous for getting raked out by hundreds of fellas in a single shift…, all dignity traded for cash and fifteen minutes of fame. Said for a while that it’ll take a generation at least to get to g

Still cool at 2C this morning, but dry and settled.., lovely morning to be out at first light. Stopped to use Merlin a couple of times. Nothing exotic but brilliant to hear the trees full of life again.
