  1. Hi guys, I was at a customers house today, he was telling me how he was selling most things up as he has been diagnosed terminally ill, amongst other things he mentioned taxidermy, I said I liked a few things so he showed me his collection, feck me, over 700 pieces, I noticed a few I liked and he is open to offers, but I don't have a scooby what they are worth. As you can imagine, this is a tiny selection of the collection, just wanted an idea on what to offer, last I heard taxidermy wasn't worth a fortune, but I don't know.
  2. Cool, that's the sort of answer I was hoping for, I will try one please.
  3. about the same as the 150 mate but with a wider beam.no its a switch on then switch off when you are ready buten Ok, so what sort of range does the 150 have ?
  4. I run mains much further than 300 metres, use an insulated cable, good energiser and your away, I would guess my total fence well exceeds 2 miles !
  5. What sort of range are the dl100's, and do they have a lock on position switch or do you need to hold the button in ?
  6. Couple years ago I was winter coding from my boat in a fair swell, was unhooking a reasonable cod (about 12lber) on deck when it flapped and the second hook (an 8/0) of my Pennel rig went up under my finger nail, that frigin hurt some I don't mind admitting, got some pics somewhere, will see if I can find one cos it was visible right under the nail ! Another one I had, unhooking some mackerel (tope bait) had a full string and grabbed them wrong as they shook, hook in one side of me finger and could just make the point out under the skin the other side, had to push it through, snip off the
  7. I generally do a couple of markets a month, everything from live chickens to dead game in the fur (or feather) and Christmas turkeys, ducks etc etc
  8. What's wrong with it, why spares or repair ?
  9. Just been speaking to mother in law who lives in Florida, she says everyone she knows is getting ready to leave if trump gets in, two folks have already got houses on the market just in case, seems he ain't as well liked as they like us to believe.
  10. It's Fecking disgraceful, I have a bit of road frontage, most days I am out picking up mcgonad wrappers, fag packets and the like, I hate the dirty scum who just launch it out the window as they drive along.
  11. Just looked, amazed to see I have one hidden on the farm, will be looking for that in the next few days, bloody ramblers !
  12. Most Landrovers normally only get a few yards anyway , why anyone would want to nick one beggars belief .. That's a bit harsh......I once towed one 3 miles back !
  13. Have a look in their eyes, see if they have tiny air bubbles in the corner, please say no !
  14. Wise words jok, very wise.As an aside, I have to agree with most of the comments so far, Sussex is right about them been suicidal, I have seen them kill themselves in some very odd ways and it opened my eyes. I fail to see why you would buy in chicks at a few weeks old (to avoid the heat lamp situation they will really need to be feathered) and bring them on for release in the hope you will make money, (that's a situation smaller keepers put themselves in to save money not make it) the money is in the hatching and full rearing for sale as poults, as that is where the risk is that's where
  15. I would forget the add ins, I had loads of trouble pairing up with a decent scope that worked well together, and when I finally did sort it, the scope was so far forward to get a good view it just wouldn't work in daytime so the scope had to be moved and re zeroed every time, complete waste of time and money, so I bought dedicated day/nv scope, a pulsar n550, it works fine, ignore the comment about them not working in daylight, that's tosh, mine has been on my rifle for 2 years I guess, and never taken it off day or night it works fine, possibly not the best scope on the market, but it sure as
  16. Evening jok, glad to see you been keeping yourself very busy as always, interested, you bet your bottom dollar I am.
  17. You lucky bugger, I been looking for a cream legbar cockerel for my girls, all the ones I have seen so far have been rubbish.Pretty desperate to get some more fertile eggs in the incubator. Well done on the box as well, you need to be careful as we will be expecting new threads of all manner of builds.
  18. That is superb Rob, I really like that, you selling it ?

    Working Alone

I spent the last 5 or so years working with others all day everyday, it was starting to drive me round the bend, so now I am taking more time for myself, I was 3hrs from home this morning at 8am and realised how quick the journey had gone, I don't like total solitary, but some time out is always good
  20. I thought they returned the application fee if unsuccessful ?
  21. Thanks, too late for me now, hopefully I've not forgotten some old silly thing, I did use my mobile, and could prove I rang them, but no way to prove what was said, I will remember that for the future and see if I can find the equivalent for iPhone. You don't have to record any phone calls and you don't have to worry, you simply have to be sensible, simply avoid making a definitive final binding statement. List all you can remember and then add something along the lines of, to the best of my knowledge belief and memory! Simple! Yes I did that, I recalled seeing something very
  22. Ha, I offered to do this today, it's called a subject access form, it costs exactly a tenner, but the police cannot do it, it's now done by a company called acro and takes. Up to 40 days, when I suggested I was looking at this option I was told absolutely no need for that ! Makes me wonder if they are trying to set people up to fail ?
  23. Jok, if you get the time and inclination, I would love one of those boxes and quite happy to pay for it.
