  1. I actually feel for you in some respects pal, it's not always easy to remember every little thing going back 30 odd years or more in some cases, it all seems harsh, I get the not giving a licence out, but to take you back to court........
  2. Rabid use your mobile phone in future for calls like this and if you have Android, download an App called ACR (Automated Call Recording). It basically records every incoming and outgoing call and gives you the option of saving it when the call ends. I'd save a call like that onto my pc and maybe even onto a disk or usb and then store 1 copy with my Firearm Application as well as leaving one on the phone / pc. That way if it ever comes into question, you have some evidence to show you followed their advice. Thanks, too late for me now, hopefully I've not forgotten some old silly thing, I did
  3. That's a complete joke, reason been, I just got off the phone not 5 minutes ago to my firearms licensing team about criminal records and what I need to put down, in case I couldn't remember something from. 30 years ago, he said just put what you can remember, dates if possible, if not don't worry as they have all the information at their fingertips and can find it all out, and will do as part of the application. So it seems, his information was incorrect, and if I have forgotten something then I may face prosecution, and no doubt they will deny telling me that !
  4. If it's a regular permission for me I usually backfill, helps me, but more importantly the farmers love to see that and it has earns me many many brownie points and extra permissions in the past
  5. It's good to see some folk with skills other than computing, some nice work.
  6. Perfect little box that jok, well done. If you get bored and wanna make me one....and a couple of hen houses, dog kennel......in fact feck it, wanna job ?
  7. Love to see some pics gerjan
  8. Some good points, yes nearly every waterway has them now, but, the white claws still have a few limited places, and unfortunately I do think it's only a matter of time before they loose the battle, all the more reason things need to be done. What did the copper do ? As police or not, they are bound by the same laws as everyone else, although they have a few 'get out of jail free' cards. Yes there are holes in the law I agree, and I wasn't trying to be funny with you personally, I think things need to change, and hope it's not already too late
  9. Well, it may seem a bit harsh I agree, but cross contamination of waters is a serious thing, our native Crays are really struggling, not saying you did, or are stupid enough to spread the signals, but folk do, and eventually it will wipe our whites out, I know it's a kick in the nuts been on the wrong end of it, but I do believe the ea need to take a stance on protection of native stocks. Had you gone about it the right way, the ea grant a free licence to trap and transport them, no harm done, everyone's a winner, all it takes is a call.
  10. I am really liking that idea, gonna raid the dog cupboard now ! To the op, I give all game a rest, not just the set seasons, but I decide on what the year has been like if I stop sooner, but vermin get it all year round.
  11. Mate, they gonna take some killing and plucking, will be a veritable feast though, on another note, if anyone hears of any plucking machines for sale
  12. Buggers won't load, too big !
  13. Well decided it was time to let them see some daylight and grass today, can't believe how much the ducks have grown in ten days
  14. That pyracantha is damn good at keeping the unwanted out, we planted some of it around an industrial estate as they kept having problems, not any more lol, security have found a good few items of torn clothing in it though !
  15. Bloody hell, mine have been laying like machines most of the winter, been giving about 60-70 eggs away every week, the turkeys have just started laying in the last ten days or so.
  16. All sorted now thanks, picked up a brinesea ova easy advance for a song.
  17. I cover a lot of miles everyday, usually towing, I am no slouch behind the wheel, I get where I am going as fast and safely as possible, but some of the driving I have seen is dreadful, shocking, I can't describe some things I have seen, so I went out and bought a camera to film my journeys as I am convinced due to the mileage I do, at some point my new truck will get smashed up by some pillock not watching what's going on, driving like a twat, not having a clue how the road works, been on the phone, eating a bowl of cereal, looking for makeup on the floor and god knows how many other things p
  18. I have used rotating bar incubators in the past and had excellent results from them, I will take a look at the one you mention, thanks.
  19. It's not an inherent trait, ie, the chicks she has wont follow like her, it's more to do with breed usually, some breeds are worse than others for it, if she has laid an egg then no point putting chicks back with her, she has done her bit so now you will have to do the rest unless you have a hen with chicks a similar age, or another broody. Thankfully it's not all that common, most broodies are natural mothers
  20. That is one dirty big rat !
  21. I probably would, when I was 17 and stupid I passed on 7 pints of red stripe with a roadside test, thought I was doomed and nearly fell off my bike when he said I had passed, totally stupid and irresponsible, and glad I have grown up now !
  22. Ha, I noticed just in the past two or three weeks the bunnies I been getting are crawling with fleas, prob as bad as I ever seen them before
  23. Does this have the adjustable pellet stop, and can you supply more pictures please.
  24. Certainly worth asking pal, I need something petty soon, and would be looking at anything up to 1000 eggs would be fine, but really looking for something fully automatic
