    Grew up with collies an collie curs... That said, I really don't know much about em, they never interested me, I was only interested in lurchers, (fast dogs, terriers too).. BUT never seen the direct link !     Stunning bitch mate... I remember a fella from my city, bought an import bitch in the late 80's, payed a pretty penny for it too. Ran it a few places, killed well, very impressed, she broke down an he lined her to a big, ugly, nasty, cur dog and after got her fit to run again... Took her to the hallowed turf of Altcar for a run... Boy, did she run, right off into the distance.... And, as far as he and his moneys concerned, she's still running now... Just the wrong way home... Hell of a bitch..!!

    I ain't kept a ferret for about twelve years, this year i'm going to get me a couple of little Jill's on. Can't wait, really excited about it again! Good reading posts by the likes of Malt, Borderscott an a few others... Now I did keep an work ferrets for about 25 years before I gave up and reading this thred about charging exorbitant prices to 'ensure' they are looked after... Nah, don't wash with me.     12 years old, killed his last bit of tackle on the lamp in March, after a long day at a dig. Will still be wanted on occasion through the summer (well, keeps his eye & legs in!) and Allah willing, will get a season in starting September... One tough Hombre... Stripe...

    Funny ain't it... But it never stated in the title, 'dogs that you don't like' yet so many have put negative comments up about various crosses... The title says 'wouldn't keep' and I put Bedlington whippet, not because I don't like 'em, I've seen a few crackers, simply because a dog of that sort would be no use to me and what I'd want to run and how i'd want to work it.

Nice to hear positive stuff about the NHS too, they are buggered by the top but at grass roots, in the main, I've never known 'em to be anything else but fantastic. I wish you well...

    My mate has one of the finest tattoo's of a dog, his old black dog Duke, on his chest. I'd ask to take a pic to put up on here show you all but that would be gay as feck..!! 'If' I could find the right running dog pic/profile I 'd like to indulge, near 40years of running dogs an 26 years of tattoo's, I may as well combine the two.
