  3. If it's about 12", can mark, be dug too (no reverse gears!), bush like a maniac (foxes only!), work nets with ferrets, quarter a field for a long or gate net, work a line for a beat, rat in a pack like no other, run a line like a hound AND swim like a fish... Its mine... Lost it on Formby beach day before yesterday (i feckin hate dogs that think the grass is always greener!!!)....
  4. Wilf and his team would only charge pennies for some action, like a team of pimped up cockney street urchins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNapDkz1urc

  7. If ya hearts set on one for showing, best of luck but I thought, by your first post, you were looking for another lurcher to lamp... Why not combine the two and get a Saluki bred lurcher..?

Aye as boys we always found porn stuff in the woods.... Found a load of pollaroids once... poor woman was being struck with a pool cue and had a cue ball in her mouth.. Porn stashes in the woods... Top kids stuff, it was always there (somewhere!) you'd go to just about any place an find it... Question is, was it that common or do orrible kids have an eye for finding it..??? Baw, there was an old bloke by ours as kids, Ken was his name, who used to be right into his 'cine' porn, had a garage choc full of it... We could knock round and get the loan of a projector an film, even his Mr
  12. If it was me, an I was all heart set on a bitch and I knew there 'would' be problems at home.... I'd look to getting the dog done in the first instance. Ask yourself.... New bitch, always wanted one of this type... best blood i could get, best training all my time/effort, dead excited at the prospect.... Should (all things being well) be sommat to be proud of... Now, does that dog measure up, is he that good that i'd save him for breeding and forsake her...?? No...! Well get him done and all will be well....

As a kid shit scared of Hammer horror films, still don't like horror films now. Remember senior school and the video club, watching Scum and Kentucky Fried Movie stuff like that. Oh yer, then there was our trips to town, sagging school to bunk into the Gilmore cinema for a bit of filth in the afternoons... Flesh Gordon or sommat a bit 'harder' if we were lucky... On our best saggs, we'd bunk a train to London and head off round that fantastic city, Soho, Carnaby St etc, now they were fecking quality...!! Twice I have been 'forcibly removed' from Harrods and once from the Raymond Review Ba
  14. Paddy, from the brief conversation we had on the phone yesterday, Darbo's post here sums it all up... She's had/got an injury, it's mid summer and catching is almost impossible here now with all that cover and you were out with a over excited terrier screaming its nuts off, think about it...! Now, either phone me, or call round any morning this week...
  15. I never thought much of wellies till I came here. Two weeks solid rain will see the best of boots struggling, never drying completely, not breathing right and, for the money we pay why put 'em through it. I now use my boots only for serious nights, everything else its wellies and boy its much better! Got to be good wellies to survive constant daily use but get 'em an save yourself the hassle an money of new boots. Mine are currently Tayberry, dunno what make unless I search, big brown neoprene jobs with a cracking sole, seen one winter out and should see a few more. Oh yer, on the subject
  16. The one animal on this planet that actively seeks out an alien environment to try to kill an animal it would not eat.... And any of you would swap 'that' for a perfect smile when a judge lifts its lip....?? Yes......? Shame on you...!!!!!!! Form should always follow function...
  17. The woman next door to me has a Alsatian (or Shepherd as its fashionable to call them longer haired ones today!). Stunning lookin thing, bout twelve months old or so, problem is, like Rays he's a big daft pup BUT she has a habit of letting it follow her out the door when she's in the front garden and when going on a walk etc. Now we live in a tiny hamlet so the chances of it seeing some one are slimmer than most. When it does see someone else it goes nuts and rushes up barking that deep low Ali bark, the type that shits you right up, especially when you don't know it coming, then darts away st
  18. You've just answered my post as I wrote it..!

  21. Penny, I know what you mean... I've been looking for a Barbour Solway jacket for months now but keep getting outbid, the price these second hand jackets go for is nuts! Though, like others have said, now I realised my mistake an simply bang a max bid on! Still ain't got me Solway though..!!
  22. you are right, brians original stuff when he was a lad came from arigho, but after myxy brian bred deerhoiund and saluki into his line as there was not much rabbiting for them and he was running more hares. these dogs were smarter looking (like snowball for example) but not as useful for all-round hunting, especially when the rabbit was making a comeback. so he put the collie blood back in, used merle and rusty and various other collie crosses to try to recreate what he had had 20 or more years previous. fathom was bred from penguin, (which was from the plummer/saluki/deerhound lines) back to
