    I'm originally from Anfield too Ryan, left near 5 years ago. Funny but the week before I left I seen a fox for the first time in my street. As a youngsters, we hunted some good specks local, some of which are still there and probably now hold more gear than they used to. Seek out the quiet places and mind how you go.

    Whilst i'm all for kids making dens or climbing trees, rope swings etc the lot that do it round here leave the fecking place strewn with shite and litter. Leaving the woods in a real mess. So if kids should do this type of thing, who clears it up after them?

    You know what.. Looking at the whole picture, I really don't have a clue. Coursing/match dogs then yes, they have and will continue to improve IMO. Ban or no ban, these are on the up.     Though I'm sure wolfy can speak for himself, knowing him since we were kids, he probably won't be back on for another 12 months and knowing him as I do, I know he simply stuck that post out there simply to see whats going on on here. It's been at least 25 years since he went looking for an earth dog and there's no need for him to start looking now.

    Terry's were always a bit 'jerky' John, If you weren't used to his style sometimes it took you two reads to fully get it (well me anyway!) BUT I always liked the content, good reading, from someone who knew his game.

    Yep, Morton and WM have put up wise words on the subject. The pup I have here now has been flat out to connect with one since about 6 months, he don't get that he's only for rabbits and has a natural thing about 'em, more than any other critter he's encountered.
