  1. Straight Outta Compton The tale of a group called NWA. Now most music/band films are total cack but in seeing so many documentaries on this band, i knew i was onto a winner from the first 15 minutes. Produced by Cube & Dre in the main, with an imput by Easy's widow, it gives a detailed documentary of the rise and fall of west coast hip hop music. Now, no matter if you like this music or not, the tale of a band, from rags to riches, has rarely been told so well before. The casting and performances are superb, especially Ice Cubes own son playing his father. Against
  2. Killer Elite... A Jason Statham vehicle, which i thought 'may' of been a bit different as it has DeNero for starts in its casting... It's an SAS tale, written by that 'good 'ol anti' friend of ours Sir Ranolph Fienns. His books are decent, especially The Sett, but this tale fails to hit its mark on screen. Mainly, no solely, due to Statham being Statham, as he is in all but two of his films, his first two... Shite... 5/10

    queen

Same in this house mate. Yep, that lone piper got me a bit BUT for me it was when she was first laid on the gun carrage, that drone of all them pipers and the Ensigns moving off...

    A.P.B.T....

I grew up with bull terriers, of both types, in inner-city Liverpool. My school days were filled with Footy, The Jam, Adidas and bull terriers, so many of us owned (and worked) them. Time dims memory, but i remember both types were 'better' than the dogs of today. In the early 80's i first heard about those Yank APBT's, and it wasn't long before i seen my first, at those early Wigan lurcher & terrier shows. I was smitten and at the same time Ed Read started advertising both his stock, and his collars in E&M. I was still living at home and owned a lurcher, terrier, an EBT and
  5. ? Nah, slap it on a butty, or let it melt over hot chips...
  6. Feck feeding it to dogs, boil it down to make brawn... Lovely ?
  7. No point buying a dog for work if you want to castrate it at 13 months.... Some bloody good advice on this thread. Take heed or buy a cat...
  8. I was on their FB page until i got booted off. They put a vid up of a 6/8 week old pup lifted over head hight whilst gripping into the end of a mop. All done over a hard floor. I commented on the stupidity of ths stunt and they took the knock and i got the boot. Idiotic and careless imo, but the dogs looked good...
  9. I missed that party... ?
  10. Bella, my Mrs's little dog, looking a bit bigger than her 22" in that picture. A 30 quid puppy purchase at the Chirk show... She made a fantastic start and i had high hopes. Then a tree trunk covered by long grass, at the edge of a field, ended her career and her life. Tough journey home that night...
  11. Another nice one from out the front window....

    What job.

I like a Goth, they are good to see.... In a world full of fecking North Face Ninja's, good 'ol Goths remind me of better times when kids dressed to musical sub-culture. All hail them Goths..!!
  13. Never seen any slow pup thats not changed it whole attitude and 'woken up', after seeing and hearing a rabbit caught by another dog. One night, a few bunnies caught by another dog and maybe a slip for yours, and you should be able to fly solo from there on in....
  14. Lovely pup that... Well played Morton. ? I wish you the very best with it Bullyson ?
  15. Fine hounds for sure Fuji, the very best of luck with them. ?
  16. Did a good few years on that around 20 years back, with meat (always with meat!) Dogs looked and ran well off it. It has Creatine in it (or did have) so i only used it in the season, when the dogs were out 3/4 days a week. Soon as they wern't running they came off it. I've learned a bit since then, and though i do still feed kibble, it's only a very basic one, once or twice a week, as an addition, never the main.
  17. Day Shift - Unfunny vampire splatter dross. The whole thing was just trying too hard. 4/10 The Batman - Nearest thing to the original comics i've seen. Reminded me of the difference between Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig's Bond versions. Not really my type of movie and it was ok but long, bloody long. The starring role went to my home city, as much of the filming was done here, and i found myself recognising that, more than following the obvious plot. The end shot is Batman & Catwoman riding out of Anfield Cemetary back gates (though the cemetary they ride through is not Anfield) a p
  18. I heard it was closer to home... ?
  19. ?? That's him... He's tried to bust the Lab trainers on the field in front of my house last season...!
