Love that a line can be traced back so far, and almost always it's because of a dedicated few that tested them to the max. All lines of working dogs will bite the dust if the animals aren't good enough, lurchers or terriers. I'm sure there was a thread about Floyd on here a few years back. Was Romeo of the same blood that Frank added, and if not, what made him your choice? Thanks

The sniper photos that I have seen, shows him on one of the Three Grace's, The Port of Liverpool building, looking down the Strand toward the Liver Building. From that point there was no way he could of fired on Water Street. From the footage I've seen, he would never of taken a shot anyway. Though I'd doubt he would be the only sniper deployed that day. At all major events with massive crowds, police use snipers these days.

Just get your dog out and give it a go, it's great fun, for both the dog and you, and you will own a better dog for it. Though be mindful, once you start, you will be doing your dog a huge injustice if you stop. Hunting/ratting is what they were bred for, and it's forever... Happy hunting

Just a bit of salt water if they are obvious, but generally they heal well enough if left alone. In 50 years of ratting I've never seen a terrier in a bad way from a rat bite.

Real smart pruning knife that. I carry one myself, though not as smart as that. I like the blade shape, kept sharp, they are great all-rounders.

First was a Mini Cooper, I was 15, and paid twenty five quid for it. Just used at nights mostly. Used to park it a few streets away, on an empty house drive, so my parents didn't know. Had it for about 6 months. Beer mat tax disk. First propper car was a Vauxhall Chevette estate, in 1984, paid sixty quid for it. Passed my test on the Wednesday, bought the car on the Saturday, loaded up with lads and dogs, and went digging badgers in Shropshire on the Sunday. Halcyon days...
