i was watching a herd of about 30 fallow one morning last summer, they were all laid down at the edge of a meadow. a fox comes out of the wood about 100 yards away, starts quartering the meadow i guess hunting voles or such. the deer all look straight at it, then all stand up and start walking towards it. fox looks but isnt too worried, keeps hunting. deer start to trot, very focussed on the fox now, and he begins to slink back towards the wood but suddenly the whole herd are stampeding at him, flat out, and foxy is running for his life, last 40 yards are a real out and out course, he iis twis
