  1. used to be a boozer off leicester square somewhere that used to be known as the bucket of blood, apparently as an acknowledgement to its past as a venue for bare knuckle fights. probably been renamed long ago theres a black boy pub not far from me at Oving near aylesbury
  2. And that's the same dog that got booted in the head by a horse when it was a pup, right.? Jeez you shoulda called him lucky. All the best for his recovery good luck
  3. I have eaten kudu and zebra, wouldn't mind a slice or two of giraffe some time
  4. The mps who are against hunting are the ones who need to be written to, it is vital that you write and also get everybody you know to do so too. Tell them that the arseholes who go fence breaking etc haven't been stopped by the ban as they are still doing it, and in fact people hunting with permission and legally can help to guard against the others
  5. Mention that hunting creates community and social cohesion, the lefties Like all that stuff. I'm still waiting for my mpto reply
  6. Walshie you would be surprised how quickly even a big carcass can be rendered down to bone. Quite often I have come across a dead fallow or water deer round here, and next day it is all hollowed out, and the day after just bones and a bit of skin. By the third day there is just a few of the biggest bones left, all crunched about and chewed, and some hair and that's about it. When you have foxes and badgers loading up all night, and ravens buzzards and red kites all day, plus magpies and crows, it's not surprising how quickly kit goes
  7. Whilst it is obviously important to contact your mp if they are pro hunting, it is Far More Important to get after them if they are anti. Get everyone you kow to write to the anti hunting mps, remind them that their support will be repaid at the next election by your vote, bOmbard them with polite letters urging their support. You never know, we may be ale to sway even one or two, that might make all the difference
  8. Americans mate Americans that's why, well probably not all Americans as when they where in Cardiff earlier on this month or lady month, I dropped my younger brother of to watch it and there was men is wrestling costumes even full grown men taking there misses out with no kids. was one of them Hotmeat (remember his avatar?!) lol
  9. how kind of the neighbours to leave you a little snack, mm yum yum. come on, eat it all up, they will you think you very rude otherwise

    Peacocks

Somewhere between pheasant and turkey in taste. Allegedly.
  13. I have always fed twice a day. Exercise for an hour in the morning, then kennel with a good meaty bone while I am at work. Exercise again in the evening, then feed so they settle at night.
  14. I do skin rabbits etc before feeding, but to be honest I don't think you will have any problems, I have never experienced any with the lurchers and I don't see why a lab would be any different
  15. Two points spring to mind, having read some of the recent posts on here First, the so called idiot Chav hunters will still carry on doing what they do, ban or not, just as they are at the moment while the ban is in place. It hasn't affected them and it won't in any way whatever happens. They will still be t it Facebook and all Second, these people were nothing to do with the ban, it was really just about organised hunting with ounces, which by progression embraced coursing, and other dog work just got sucked in. This is because there were two REAL items on the agenda, which were the sy

    Peacocks

there was one near us used to scratch cars up, that disappeared after a while. tasted very nice after some hours in the slow cooker. or so I'm told................
  17. wtf is that? I dont even understand. only wasted 2 mins on it though. rubbish.
  18. i was lucky enough to see him at the Hammersmith Palais about 20 years ago, RIP
  19. to my understanding yes, but they are very limited and it is mostly lone elephants coming through there. cheers i seem to remember maybe 15-20 years ago there were too many and they caught up some calves and shipped them to europe for various zoos, shame the numbers have dropped in the intervening years then
  20. It's worth remembering that, regards to the hunting act repeal, a topic I would hope we could all find common ground on. I don't know how things stand now but before the election I believe there was 24 Con' MPs vocally opposed to hunting..... If a free vote is to be successful it's going to require the politicians to do a bit of politics. are there any non-tory mps who are in favour of hunting?
  21. Agree, doesn't look like anything to worry about to me
  22. i thought all pigs were eating pigs, why cant you eat your pigscause there small - my smallest is around the size of my foot which is a size 4 If I ate them id get no more than one or two fry ups out of them Size 4 eh? Just imagine it with a fecking apple in its gob..... Stick it n a bun. Yum.
  23. All the parties been doing that for years, they even have a name for it, gerrymandering (google it)
  24. Figures can be dressed up how you want. For example, it is true that only about 43% actually voted against the Tories. I agree that the system is unfair when 12% of votes only gets one seat for ukip yet snp get 56 seats with just 4.7%, but what system do we all agree is fair?
  25. We are not all lucky enough to have understanding landowners or enough hidden permission that we can do what we like. I for one am tired of slinking around, like a fecking common thief, just to work my dogs. I shall do whatever I can to try to influence the future of the sport we all love and if everybody here at leat tries then I hope just maybe we can change things. As for writing to your mp, it's not difficult, as long as you word the letter politely asking the mps intention if there is a vote to repeal the hunting law. If they support us, then you simply reply by thanking them. If no
