going by what my vet said a fracture will heal in no time where as a tendon can go on for bloody months

If they did have a free vote on it the chances of it going our way would be pretty slim I imagine. Most of them wouldn't understand or not care about the issue and vote against. I think there are lots too that want to actually tighten the laws down even more from what I read about the place

My spuds were peeping through and got nipped but earthed them up they seem fine peeping through again now. The toms in me cold frame copped it mind game over for them but I have spare in the house

Yep there is all ways loads to do the weeds are endless that's why I am trying some cardboard down see if it can help a bit. The nettles make good fertiliser so they say so I don't mind them -

Took delivery of my cow manure 20 quid for half a trailer load saves throwing bags of shite in the car though I still do that any way Planted out some ormskirk cabbage and gave the washing lquid a try be interesting to see how that goes. Also using cardboard from work as a weed suppressant. Might help the soil too when it rots down ? and the tidiest allotment award goes too NOt you messy sod I am more of a result man hopefully lol I new that net I found on the beach would be handy strawberries flowering onions are looking better this year but -
if your a tad slow like me they can have a right old nibble on the nets and 6z or 4z won't matter. There is a cracking post on here for repairing them. It is just some thing you have too do. I spent a fair old time making this net and with in 2 or 3 trips it looked like it had been attacked with a strimmer But better to have hole and rabbits than no holes and no rabbits

My dog at the moment has two sorts of response to recall there is the zoom back flat out because there a treat or toy on offer and he wants to return or the begrudging trudge back where he would rather be doing some thing else regardless of what treat I have for him but his doing as I told him. I have been pleased to see the latter response lately because hopefully I can build on it so when there are distractions he still returns. Long way to go with him yet and I mean a long way Most of the learning is me learning how to learn him

Frost damage wasn't too bad with the spuds and they are earthed back up now. Few more cauli last night they come good just wish I had made a note of the variety are you going to rig up some sort of snazzy watering system for the strawberries gnipper or let them get on with it -
no great loss and that guy should thought of turning into van gogh a bit sooner

I am finding the one pup needs a huge amount of time if you want a well rounded dog. Mine is more of a triangle at the moment . I am loving every minute well all most every minute lol but I sure as hell wouldn't want two.Training and socialising seems to be key and worrying if it will chase stuff later on is a minor detail and the easy bit

Just a couple of small cauli today hopefully get a bigger one off these getting to grips with the weed frabic Poxy mice have cleaned out the broad beans I sowed a few weeks ago going to have to sort them out. Will give the next batch the paraffin treatment. Just seems to be any peas or beans sown with in a certain range of the sheds or compost heaps gets nailed. One of the plots has got this going on big humps of sticks and leafs and various other bit and bobs grass cuttings etc. Along the lines of what some one mentioned previously I think -
he see's you loading up he will be telling you where to stick your retirement lol. Nice to see them make old age

I see what you saying there gnasher but I find the longer pole better as it allows me to keep the dog out and have a longer run at it. If I had a short pole and him doing lots of tight turns thats not what I am after at the moment. I also have to keep in mind his injury a few months ago so again tight turns wouldn't be good for me any way. But a handy gadget and a bit of fun

BBC 1 ah your talking about uk one
-
in this instance it is just to give the dog a treat and some exercise with out him running free to much at the moment. Not for any particular lurcher purposes
-
Spot on. You have him. He will only get better. TC He heeled all the way out there on and off lead then a treat with the pole and heeled back to the car park apart from a slight incident with a springer spaniel lol. But we have certainly turned a corner since sunday
-
Little clip of tonight's action I can start to get him a bit more controlled as we go on
-
