Woke up this morning and decided to have a couple of hours down the beach. No time to get fresh bait so just had to use a couple of razor from the freezer. Nice flat sea which I prefer on this venue but the smaller tides all ways fish better. Gave it a couple of hours but nothing doing. But the dog had his first fishing trip so that was another experience for him. Once we got over the issue it wasn't just another attempt at a flirt pole for his benefit all was well. Kept him tethered as the dunes behind me hold a lot of stuff and he knows it and lots of low flying birds about. I didn't want

Bass, Bit Of Mark Advice Please
terryd replied to South hams hunter's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
It is worth putting the time in and experimenting until you find the best times and conditions. I had one spot that fished its socks off for about half an hour. i used to turn up get the bag out ready to put the fish in and get me priest ready lol. Bit of a hike to it but worth it. The features have changed slightly now though. Don't just stick to the norm there was one spot you could ledger the out going tide but no one thought to try I often would bag up before people arrived and slip away as every one else turned up -

I think morton is right to a degree a good working terrier should basically take on any thing. This fella was a tremendous worker and superb ferreting dog which was his original purpose but he would happily drop to ground and duke it out with a fox for as long as needed. Yes it was a pain when you want a nice little ferreting trip and got diverted for hours digging a fox but I was proud as punch of him. Rat, mink, fox and rabbit But if the dog suites you and does the bushing job I certainly wouldn't get shot because it wouldn't go to ground

What Do You Lot Do With Your Dogs In The Summer?

Think you have to watch out for the algae some ones terrier on fb was dead in a short time after drinking water from it -
Not a cat fan my self but I certainly wouldn't want my dog killing any. Our neighbor had one for 17 years I think till it died of cancer. How it survived that long wondering around I will never know and I certainly wouldn't want my dog giving it the chop as I know they were very attached to it

not practical or I would also chickens and a sheep lol

My concern is I don't want to turn up on permission and the dog nails the farmers cat not really the way to go lol

In process of breaking mine he was ok when he was younger but lately is showing to much interest in them. A farmers words I keep thinking about season just gone when he spotted him in the car was don't you dare touch my cats they come up the fields after the rabbits so I need to get him sorted and his not at the moment. Finding them is the hard part don't see that many about they just tend to pop up any where now and again

My young fella I am just trying to train him this summer. Tried him on the bike recently and that went ok so we can do bit more of that in later part of summer. -

If they did have a free vote on it the chances of it going our way would be pretty slim I imagine. Most of them wouldn't understand or not care about the issue and vote against. I think there are lots too that want to actually tighten the laws down even more from what I read about the place

My spuds were peeping through and got nipped but earthed them up they seem fine peeping through again now. The toms in me cold frame copped it mind game over for them but I have spare in the house
