  1. just had a second reply off my mp for some reason Thank you for your recent email concerning the Hunting Act. The Government's manifesto contained a commitment to a free vote on the repeal of this Act and I will be voting to support this measure. Yours sincerely Simon Hart MP
  2. oh and then after you of course have to test things out to make sure its still all working for medical reasons preferably not by your self
  3. yea it only needs a local and lots of it
  4. Had it done in the afternoon and we went to the circus that night I just sat there groaning lol but back in work the next day. Hung like a porn star for a day or two until the swelling went down. Didn't like the feeling of them cutting the tubes if i am honest and they really had to give it a bit welly must have been a bit tough lol
  5. I wouldn't go that far I think kids either want to learn and forge ahead in life or they don't and if they don't you can have the best intentions in the world you are not going to change that
  6. Well I think I should have took notice of the forcast and kept sweetcorn until mid week it wont have enjoyed yesterday. That is the trouble some times you just have to do things when you have the time rather than when you should

Used to live in the village of Walpole about 40 years ago. The country side was stunning then acres and acres of orchards with plums and apples. Loads of hare, pheasant and rabbits. I wouldn't fancy the town though
  8. yea used to take me donkey down there as a kid used to jam it in the back of a vw camper lol
  9. I started some pea off in it once and slide them out I think keeping it watered is the issue maybe
  10. Had a go me self when the wife was in hospital for month with me three girls. Get the two off to primary sort the baby out then get house work done and every thing tidy. Get dinner prepped ready for the evening I had a little drill going. The girls used to moan about dinner being ready soon as they came through door and when I took them to visit there mum in the evening there was some comments about oliver twist not sure what that was about
  11. Yea thats pendine Malt. Looks a plain old beach but quite a lot going on once you know it
  12. runner beans up and away Calabrese looking surprisingly healthy so far more cauliflower and calabrese into day one thing I have learned is if using the toilet roll tubes best to remove when planting out as once they dry out I don't think the roots can get out and these french beans don't look happy compared to these going in direct sweet corn out today so the slugs can have a good feed tonight gave them a bit of shelter from the wind climbing tall peas making there way up
  13. Nice little run around down the beach this morning just to take the edge off him for the day. Stopping him from chasing birds too don't want him legging it after any thing crossing the sky line.
  14. now we cooking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbMEb1T8CN0 won't stick 7 brides for 7 brothers up lol don't want to get banned
  15. just have a look on the back of your policy when it comes Leesy for the exclusions mine has Excluding claims resulting from or connected to leg/hip/shoulder disorders lol so bout the only thing covered is his snout and tail hopefully the vet will get them sorted
  16. Ours is completely on board new it any way but thought best support him (Simon Hart) Dear Terry, I am completely supportive of country sports and will vote for repeal of the Hunting Act. Best wishes SH
  17. That is what I use and now you mention it no reason it couldn't be attached to some bigger uprights. Some thing I literally threw up for me currants last year Be interested to see his frame
  18. this might help you http://keeping-chickens.me.uk/getting-started/chicken-houses
  19. if its helpful petplan don't care if its a working dog 12:24:49 [terry] out of interest does it affect any thing if it was a working dog 12:26:45 [Reena] If your dog is getting paid for the work it does it would impact the policy. If the work is voluntary or a hobby it will not have an impact on the policy. but if you mention a previous injury like I did watch the exclusions on your policy because I mentioned a tendon injury they have have pretty much excluded all his limbs They just need more info off my vet who is on the case but I expect them to exclude that injured leg but there
  20. the ones I see are taken down and moved. I dont have enough timber my self but could all ways find half a dozen 8 foot steaks a use rope for the frame maybe and cable tie scaffold netting together. One of my typical neat and tidy jobs
  21. I like the walk in frame for the brassica a few folks have them down my plots. You can get into to maintain things unlike the other way once the nets down it tends to stay down come what may
  22. Nice looking pup and so the journey begins. Enjoy every minute of it
  23. spuds look good gnipper the bags are a good way of a head start too
  24. Yea you can find any thing in the over grown plots. I picked this up cheap last week as the groundsman has been eyeing up my paths as I tend to ignore them. Took all of 30 seconds before there was an all mighty twang and a nice bit of wire wrapped around it lol. I also have a habit of throwing me stones on the path as well so I had to rake them off Rumour has it rock salt could be a good plan for the path edges has any one tried it ? would kill the weeds and stop the slugs crossing I guess
