Good luck with the recovery hope its goes well for you both. I know its hard but do every thing you can to stop it doing any thing out the blue. You know what there like once it starts to feel better it might try a little burst in the house or the yard and even on a lead. Mine only needed about a foot of lead to do some thing silly lol

I thought the exact same thing as soon as I saw the picture I thought dam I would love a dome like that lol. Wife all ways telling me to cover stuff up

On another note I think mine is a bit too full on for one of them I have been looking at the videos online. I just swung a skin round on a long bit of string the other day. He went at it like a nutter at warp speed looked like an injury waiting to happen so I thought better of it

different types of toughness some happy to get in a scrap but if you asked them to do 8 hours work which involved physical discomfort all day would be crying like a baby Another example like mackem has given requires toughness again when your legs and body are screaming stop but you just run through it

10 minutes intense any thing will tire them I guess mine is the same full blast running about after a ball soon tires him out. In fact I think I might have over done him a few times as a pup because he will keep on going so I don't over do him any more, I stop him when I think his had enough not when he decides

Back up the plot this morning making most of my time off and getting back on top of things. Planted another block of broadbeans under the bread baskets Planted some onion sets as my seeds never germinated so i will try and get that right next season. Made a nice tidy job of laying the weed fabric better read up on how to do it properly for my other bits yanked this fence up it don't take 5 minutes to put a support up and the less permanent structures the better. I like to be able to dig over end to end. Once the weeds get a foot hold they start creeping out -
is it full wipp or x bit of a mix apparently got bull, wheaton, bearded collie and greyhound
-
Bad luck indeed If your a ferreting man though I wonder if the dog would be ok for marking and general ferreting duties

I just keep an eye on one of my neighbours his crops are amazing of any thing he grows so I constantly plague him for info. I get plenty of info and help off the folks in this thread too and of course you have good old google. I should keep accurate notes too of what works and not but it all ways goes out the window -
Just had to watch that again with the sound up after socks post made me chuckle lol

purple sprouting is in production now but I didn't plant enough this year broad beans flowering again I miscalculated could done with few more. The over wintered ones all ways look very straggly may try get them in bit earlier swiped few more raspberry canes from a vacant plot crumble any day now -
few from last few days

would definitely try spray collar first it has the benefit of working while your not there. It does no harm just breaks the dogs line of thought and a wiff. Sure some won't bat an eye lid or just bark till its empty. Mine may do one day but at the moment when he does try it on its never more than once.Test it while you are there first obviously as per the instructions in case the dog has bad reaction and goes loopy or some thing

started me off now John I love this song all ways have since a kid lol

No live stock on our plots and we got plenty of rats but then we are next to tesco But I keep a constant set trap in my shed and account for one every couple weeks

You might want to install this to play the files http://sourceforge.net/projects/nulloy/files/Nulloy-0.7.5-win32.zip/download it has a Progress Bar so you can go straight to the peaks rather than try and play back 2 hours of recording if its a laptop
-
leave a window open or ajar with a laptop or ipad or some thing recording so you can see how bad it is. Might be nothing to worry about if its just the odd bark now and gain. Oh and don't leave a ladder laying about by the window

ours howls in house on the rare occasions he gets let on his own. He has a hell of voice you can hear him bloody mile away but one squirt off this stops him and does no harm http://store.intl.petsafe.net/en-gb/anti-bark-spray-collar-basic-spray-bark-control 9 times out of 10 he wont bark at all with it on so far any way. We leave the laptop recording just to check what his up to
-
mine used to do that with out a bike
