  10. Bit more tidying today got a few leeks for the chicken and bacon pie for dinner digging up some of parsnips composting the worst ones seeing as I have a glut and freezing the best ones same with the sprouts nice surprise under the netting today. having with dinner shortly
  11. good site here for finding public foot paths if you don't have maps http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm Can be handy for passing sheep if you don't have permission but obviously keep the dog on a short lead and don't be seen to disturb the sheep. But they can be handy for a calm walk by some and it all helps
  12. A long line and play ball around them worked well for mine so I could lob the ball towards the sheep and the dog belts at the ball and the sheep tend to leg it so its a good test. But you need to visit the sheep dam near every day if you can and when ever your driving about if you see sheep the other side of the fence get out and walk the hedge/fence so you don't miss a chance. Sheep in a new place get a different reaction initially I found. Mine is a work in progress even at 11 months I won't be relaxing any time soon and keeping at it all summer then come winter once I direct him at rabbit
  13. think they are born but then they need the opportunity to blossom
  14. Turned bit more over today before the rain comes tomorrow nice surprise when I tipped the dalek over full of well rotted stuff which went straight back on rhubarb waking up dug the last of my carrots they are not in great shape but can selvedge some rather than compost them. uncovered the strawberries so hopefully they will take off like last year they came good last year can't wait
  15. Learning my self with mine and a few things I am working on as I am determined to have him heel. First thing I found the dog need to know where heel is as its no good yanking the lead and saying heel if he aint got a clue what it means. I did that in the house with treats and got him walking by my side and saying heel and treating so he now knows the position. Next I got quite a long lead and in a boring place with out distractions I got him heeling and treating but then released him with a get on which allows him to go to the end of the lead and when I say heel he slows down and comes back t

Will use the space for plenty of fruit My onion seeds all seem to have failed to germinate I had some in the cold frame and tried some in a heated propagator indoors so its going to be bulbs again this year lol
