  5. Some kids are saints and some are not and if there not there's sod all you can do about it. If she wants to smoke you can preach till your blue in the face won't change a thing. I predict next scummy boy friends and alcohol
  6. I have one his keen as hell. Great nose and bright dog too. His a good ferreting buddy and pulls off some great catches on the lamp. Down sides I have struggled with sheep but will get there, he was possessive but getting much better, plonker around other dogs but going great there now. He don't retrieve as of yet. In fairness all the down sides are more than likely my fault and I like him a lot His litter mates are all working well as far as I know
  7. Thank god it wasn't deep and good effort off the young dog
  8. 350g plain, 225g butter, pinch of salt . Add to blender or mix by hand to bread crumb. Add beaten egg and few table spoon of water to bring together then pop in fridge for bit. We use it for mince pies but the like it and it works for any thing really
  9. Some good fun ahead and a nice cross too
  10. Well went a bit off course forgot the cheese and I love a blue cheese sauce and I used a chicken stock cube instead of veg. Gently fried one red onion and one white with two cloves of garlic in olive oil and bit of butter added 2 leeks and half a red chilli. Then the rabbit fillets diced. Fried for about 20 minutes gently then added a bit of flour and cooked off. Then added the stock and popped in the oven while i walked dog for an hour two. Let it cool and made me pastry and popped in the oven for 20 minutes. Big hit the kids loved them and me too poor pictures as me
  11. Cheers Jok like the sound of that got some rabbit in fridge ready
  12. tell me more about this sauce. Did you make a white sauce and add the bit or use a stock ?

  17. When I was young I had 3 lurchers over the years and as I recall none of them caught a day time rabbit either ferreted or bushed by the terrier. But the one I have now has caught two which I thought was a big ask around here. But he seems to have an explosive burst of speed and he lets nothing get in the way and gives a 110%. Not knocking my previous dogs as they were mostly used for lamping and did great at it and also didn't give me the grey hairs this sod is giving me plus if i had the chance I would happily have any of them again. But all dogs are capable of different achievements and you
