  1. I used to work with that fella, he's a good lad. In the 70s it wasn't unusual for someone to bag a load at the bar or while they were playing pool. I knew a guy who did it regular...RIP Gilly ?
  2. He's the Sunderland of the political world.
  3. I have some Gamekeeper magazines for sale. The complete year 1952 and six or seven from 1959. In good condition, the content is fascinating and interesting and the adverts are also worth a read. £22 inc postage. I'm in the north west so could meet up within reason. Photo to whatsapp if needed. PM please
  4. Always good to have insurance, it's good practise plus, you can include it in any letter you write or card you gave printed. It shows you take what you do serious, especially where guns are concerned
  5. I picked up this original Kenzie Thorpe oil on canvas painting last week and this week bought the book about him on line. When the book arrived, it had a pen sketch of geese drawn by Kenzie and signed by him on the front blank page! A great bonus. The book is very good?
  6. Good guns those hornets, can't fault mine ?
  7. That money supermarket ad with those guys in denim shorts and the builders...what the fcuk is that about? I turn over when it comes on!
  8. Ladies North Face gortex lined all terrain walking shoes. Size 4.5. Worn twice so in near mint condition. Can send photos via what's app. PM me please £40 which includes postage. North west area
  9. Good point Neil. Slightly away from the subject, but I've always thought the wrens I see flying around the heather clad moor are a more localised breed than those choosing to breed in the low lands. They build their nests in deep heather as opposed to dark, overhanging structures like tree roots, tunnels etc.
  10. Good programme but that Ewan McGregor voicing over....can't stand the cnut
  11. Going over myself at the end of September. Love the place. We stay at Strangford Lough and car hire for the few days we're there.
  12. PayPal is available isn't it?
  13. Anyone with a knowledge of what they're talking about and not reading it from a script
  14. My mate has 2 Jill ferrets that he needs to get rid of. About 18 mths old and worked lightly, one albino and 'tother polecat. Rochdale area, PM me please
  15. TC When I watch this I feel quite emotional for the old guy. And Jacks understated words at the end....perfect?
  16. Yes he did and the old boy fell asleep. They woke him when he had a bite and let him catch it. I've got them all and watch them now and then. Normally on on a Sunday after The Big Match I think? Making cider was a good one. I bet they were pissed at the end of filming. A bygone era gone forever but at least we can watch it when we like. I wouldn't mind getting hold of "Clarrissa and the Countryman" series but believe it's virtually impossible?
  17. For sale. Comes with flip up covers. MISSING is the cap that goes on the ill reticle control otherwise ex cond. £35 posted. PM for photos via whatsapp. North west area
  18. "Kings Of The Ring" is a good watch. History of the heavyweights from early 1900s. Jack Dempsey...what a brawler he was?
  19. Seen something a while ago about Tibetan people and how they live. The way they disposed of their dead was unbelievable. Sky funeral or something like that it was called where they took the corpse into the mountains and broke up the body to feed to the Griffins and vultures?
  20. Ferguson will be pulling big Sams strings behind the scenes. Morinho couldn't and shouldn't give a feck!
  21. Says a lot about the state of the game over here when the FA have no choices other than Allardyce or Bruce as the only English options
