  1. And he's then been re employed doing the same job at league level! He should have been banned for life from managing
  2. He's probably got more money than he needs otherwise that offer would have been banked...Fact!
  3. I've been looking at buying some of those gold sovereigns recently advertised. 22ct £249.
  4. Take any boyfriend lamping then when the lamp goes out, grab the Cnut by the neck and tell him in no uncertain terms you'll knock feck out of him and his family if he upsets your girl. Works for me. Or, take him for a pint and become good friends with him ?
  5. Some gay sites might have more internet action ?

    Edingburgh

I've enjoyed it when I've visited and also attended a hunting protest march there years ago. I'm going up next month for the six nations Scotland Vs Ireland. Christmas present from the kids ?
  7. never thought of that , you had much success like that ? Once or twice, but also if you go back later with the lamp, if he's not in the trap, he'll be nearby, pacing around the cage calling in a low "voice". He might even turn up at dusk if he needs to be with her? Drag her around the ground a little, get her scent about the place
  8. When I've had a vixen in a snare or wire at this time of year, besides putting some wires down, I always stick the dead vixen on top of a trap. He'll come to see her?
  9. Keep your mind busy for the first few weeks. Try not to think about it. When I stopped in '87 I had bad flu like symptoms that laid me low for a week or two but worth the effort. Best thing you'll ever do, good luck
  10. Just thought I'd let lads know who visit or have visited Manchester airguns, Failsworth in the past that Graham Walker, who worked there part time, passed away this week after a brave battle with his illness. He was a good lad Graham and had time and energy for anyone who wanted gun advice or help with sorting their licenses out. RIP
  11. I work on that valley and know the lads very well. Some Crackin' drives and high birds?
  12. BGD, he's probably thinking of his next job on telly with a memory to suit
  13. I think they got more grief because the animals were kept in poor conditions. There wasn't much to see or any clear evidence. It was all highly emotive talk about what COULD of happened. One lurcher had a limp, which could have been from anything but it was pointed out that it could have come from something more sinister! A set of antlers were found in a yard, some parts of animals in a freezer etc and a knife used to cut the animals up with, which is what anyone would use. Basically, deer poaching I'd say. The main guy got 5 months or 2 months as the crow flies, hardly Robin Hood! And nothing
  14. Lads with dogs. Poaching and using their dogs for fighting. Dogs were kept in a poor way.
  15. Probably out on Monday aren't they socks?
  16. Terrible misreporting of this in the Mail today. The reporter has tried to cram as much into it as possible and got nothing right in his haste. f***ing shocking bit of journalism!
  17. Does the topic title refer to George Michael?
  18. Hang some dust sheets below it to catch any droplets or get some air into the garage. Get a pipe on the dryer fed to the outside or open the door!

    Pensions

Got a good company pension but they're talking about changing it now. I pay into a share scheme and have loads of bonds. Paid for the house. Looking to invest in bits and bobs as well for the future
  20. Just get your head round it fellas, you don't need to change your routine that much, just be sensible. I'm 12st 3lb now and 58 years old. As we get older the metabolism changes and weight tends to stay on if you get into that lazy mode and biscuit pick. Seen lots of guys around my age with a nice gut coming on and tits that the wife would be proud of. That's not for me and I couldn't do what I do with lots of weight on, plus, I've got kids who won't want a fat dad waddling behind them. Take pride in how you look. I lamp with a big guy and he's dripping when we've had a walk round whereas I'm j
  21. I've lost a stone and half since August and I've platued out now. Simple, exercise more and eat decent food, no picking at biscuits or cakes and no ale or hardly none. I start with a decent brekky, porridge with a banana or two boiled eggs on toast. I get in work an hour early and seeing as I work outside in the countryside I get a good hours strenuous walk in working up a good a sweat and I'm on my feet all day. I could drive around but choose to walk most of the time. Give it time and it'll drop off you. Patience is the thing. I've seen some guys lose it then pile it back on. It's a life cha
