I’ve learnt to manage it. If you think about it too much, too deeply, you’ll go downhill. I remember loved ones at the right time for me and think “there but for the grace of god…” I’m still here, I can’t do anything about what happened to them but I can bring them to life briefly by remembering good times and that helps. Look around you, everyone is carrying thoughts like this, but we have to keep moving forward. Get on with your life, lead it the best way you can and go out with no regrets Good luck mush

I’m there jukel, really enjoying the trips during the night to the pisz stone. Happy birthday old boy

What the fook is he playing at? He’s gone woker than woke by changing the name of a ship his mother had agreed to, from HMS Agincourt to HMS Achilles, for fear that it’ll upset the French! His father Prince Phillip must be laughing in his grave. He bottled it with the shooting/hunting craic when we really needed him to stand his ground and help fight our corner. He’s turning into a right mard arse whimp of a king

I’ve found Seeland socks very good. Hard wearing and comfortable.

It’s winter and just the weather. At one time the weather was mentioned for a couple of minutes after the news, now it’s the news!

Met him a few times and always loved being in his company. He fought for what he believed in, and that was terrier and hound work. Another great terrier man gone but he’s left us some wonderful memories. RIP Sir

Waterproof breathable coat recommendations
cragman replied to ADAM C's topic in Hunting Boots & Clothing
I had one (Halcon) and it was a good coat with lots of pockets. I’ve since gone to a Harkila pro hunter and a Musto smock. In fact I’ve several decent coats in the van -

Great upbringing, from a household with seven kids, so two elder brothers who helped me and two elder sisters who had great vinyl 45s I’m still doing most of the things I did when young, hunting, a bit of nesting, walking in the countryside etc. Had lovely parents, a mum who gave her best all the time and a dad who played games on the fields with us even after a hard day at work and later in life enjoyed his company over a pint. Said it often, I’m glad I was young when I was

Just had a week Scarborough way with the family. Typical British old fashioned seaside resort. Lots of fat fookers and invalidity vehicles. On a positive note, someone needs to get out to Cayton and get knockin’ for permission. We visited a farm there and there were corvids and pigeons all over the freshly cut fields. Visited Bempton cliffs. Worth a visit even though the auks have gone by now

From the other week. Decent bag on a warm night also picked a few more rats with the rimmy

I’d be keeping the windows, curtains and door closed, you’re letting hot air in!

Sick of it already and guess what, that Clare feck1n’ Balding has turned up again. He’s like dogsh1te that bloke

I think Hounds magazine is still going, the only other fieldsports maggies are I think, Shooting Times, Sporting Gun, The Field and a couple of airgun magazines

Can’t do with that Balding, she’s like dog sh1te, everywhere! Jack of all trades master of none. And the womens tennis game? Turned on the second womens semi final last night and the arena was mostly empty. Careful camera work only showed areas that had folk in.
