  1. I'd say west Kent perhaps
  2. Good stuff. There's nowt like seeing the bush below when you approach to check them
  3. Never seen foxes hung up but I regularly see moles, weasles and stoats on a wire at a certain spot.
  4. Crikey black gun, I hope you get sorted. I've a pitch black on my rimmy and, touch wood, it's behaving ok at the moment. Good bit of kit when just sitting with the rifle on bipod knocking off the bunnies. Good luck
  5. Too much loud music in it for me. Every scene is ending in a crescendo of music. Load of bollocks and over rated
  6. I like the glenlivet, very nice
  7. If you're legging it about on the tops then go for the layered system under a decent gortex or tweed jacket. I have a large game pocket in the back of my coat so a layer can be took off if you get a sweat on and stuffed away. Also, the game pocket can hold a pair of gloves, wind proof balaclava, paclite overtrousers and food.
  8. I help out my kids even though they're all working in good jobs. I'm also, gardner, decorator, builder, and supplier of holidays for them, but I like to do that and my wife has them round all the time for meals, going walking etc. They tend to tag along now with me and the wife, which we like.
  9. Ditto Jjm, I'm always telling my kids who are on that same journey that life does get easier, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Finances improve, life becomes less chaotic and you're able to take things in your stride. I had to sell lots of gear to get through hard times but I think it makes you stronger as a person and as a married couple. ?

  11. You're a surveyor then? I've assisted setting out engineers on the railway so I know the basics. I can use a tape haha and know how to read a drawing, I also know how to use a laser leveller with a staff etc..... I don't know if there is a route to go down without earning a degree though that's the trouble. No mate, not a surveyor but I work for a utility company so do use the tools you mention now and again. I was just saying that it's worth giving anything a go if it will bring you job satisfaction and a decent living ?It's knowing how to start and getting a foot in the door that's the hard p

  13. Give it a go fella. I did my city and guilds into my late 40s and where I work they're always encouraging you to have a go at something. Mind you, the maths part of it was a b*****d, I struggled but got help with it. Did my mini digger training a few years ago along with chainsaw. Not life changing but enough for someone my age. Did night college as well, getting A level in a few subjects. It's never too late ?
  14. Immaculate, Berghaus Gortex coat for sale in dark green. Reproofed although it's never had a soaking. Size L. Hood in the collar and waist tensioners. 3 pockets. 65£ posted and I'll throw in a pair of Sprayway gloves. PM please for photos, north west area
  15. Probably professional dog walkers, doing it for a living. A lot of folk get dogs but then find they have no time to walk them or lose interest. I have a few that turn up where I work and tip loads out of estates or vans, let them empty out then load them up and feck off. It's a public place as well and they're all off leads. There is dog shit bins but I'm yet to see any go further than what I call dog shit alley?
  16. Why do this with a pissed up young girl? He could have most of the women knocking about looking for a footballer and sober if he wanted to, lazy b*****d. It's sordid the way it was done, bet he wished he'd knocked one out now instead. His girlfriend must really love him or is bonkers.
  17. Don't want them on the front I was just asking if anyone had fitted them either back or front for ease of fitting?
  18. Peugeot 308. Ive seen places that fit them but I was just wondering if it's manageable doing it yourself? Thanks for the constructive comments fellas ?
  19. Anyone on here fitted or had fitted rear and/or front parking sensors on their vehicle. If so, is it an easy job to do yourself? Thanks
  20. Jill mason has done two good books on the fell packs. The Coniston have an excellent one out and you can't beat Richard Clapham books for atmospheric fell hunting
