  1. Had a couple of weeks away on and off and haven’t half noticed a big difference in the pup. She’s coming on a treat. Growing like mad and has a cracking temperament. Will be getting her in with stock a bit more now and starting to push the training.
  2. I’ve stamp of dog that. I would have this type in a heartbeat if I was up on my permission in north wales more often. Wouldn’t do this type any justice where I am most of the time. She Looks a good type to have up on the hill ?
  3. Good times Kev. If I was living up there permanently then I would give a GWP cross a go. Would also get a beagle x type busher. Couldn’t let them range like that down here mate.....we would get into trouble!
  4. These should be nice pups. Be interesting to see how them come on. Good luck with it all. ?
  5. Yeah maybe. This was towards Lydford. Maybe isolated as I havnt seen any with it around the okehampton area
  6. It’s been on north Dartmoor for a while. My busher has had a couple in March up there with myxi.
  7. Thanks lads. She should suite me and fingers crossed everything will work out.
  8. Cheers mate. See you at the fishing comp with her
  9. After a long wait for the bitch getting lined and the usual wait until I could pick her up, I finally got my new pup home yesterday. Bold as brass and settling in fine. Sire: Collie grey saluki grey collie whippet grey x bull grey Dam: along the lines of collie bull grey Hopefully she should make at least 24tts should have a summer of fun ahead of us!
  10. It’s a joke but at least there’s still a few lads still out there putting thought into it and charging a fair price. ?
  11. Is that pen yr van the smaller version of Pen Y Fan? ?
  12. Sagunto mate. They told him they were after hare! I will be working over there with him in September/October
  13. They look like little crackers them foxpack.
  14. Has anyone ever used the sire as a stud before collie John? By this I mean to a heavily bred sight hound type of lurcher? Seems to be plenty of folk on here that say they can never find the right dog. He would be perfect across a grew or something along them lines.
  15. Nice strong looking pups. Well looked after. Good luck with them colliejohn ?
  16. One of the best ferreting dogs I ever seen was a JRT. Same stamp as the bitch in this thread. If you are ferreting hedges then they are worth having. This litter looks just the job for bushing. ATB with the pups whoever has them.
  17. There’s prob a few out there. What sort of height are you looking for? Might narrow it down a bit.
  18. Fishing from the rocks is great fun. Just make sure it’s safe. Check out the tides and watch out for the swell. Don’t go going anywhere that’s tricky to get to as you might have to get out of there if the tides or weather turns. ?
  19. Agree there mate. Sometimes you got to be happy with what you have got. Either that or be prepared to take some of the blame! Some dogs might not cut it but doing your homework on the litter, taking time to train and enter properly and you reduce the problem.
