  1. Spot on them. Best of luck. Be great for on the hills ?
  2. Best part of the day trigger. How’s the bitch coming on?
  3. I might find a quiet spot in a week or so and launch the kayak. ?
  4. As the saying goes.....rusty roof dirty cellar ?
  5. All the best with her. Great looking pup
  6. I go direct to the slaughterhouse. They are good as gold to be honest. Only problem now is that the raw companies are moving in and paying them decent money to take everything away. I normally take a crate of beer and tea, coffee etc. Raw is getting trendy and the price is getting crazy. Most the minced stuff from these big companies has a lot of water added to make up the weight.
  7. Really like this cross mate. Hard to find these days. Was it deer grey to collie grey or both parents got a bit of everything in? Keep us updated with her. Be great to see how she turns out
  8. Spot on. Could see there was collie from the other pup. How tall you reckon she will make?
  9. Smart looking pups. How is she bred? There’s no way you are walking away without one if the kids are with you ?
  10. Yeah and ideally you would want to see it work etc. I would only stud mine if I wanted a pup out of him. There will be lads on here I’m sure ?
  11. There must be people on here with both types mate. Maybe with all that’s going on they just ain’t replying. I keep an eye out on any collie saluki grey types as that’s the type I have here. Not sure of any that are 26/27 TTS though
  12. Not that big at all then. Nice dog him. Not a lot you can do for the ears I suppose mate. Does he cover the ground quicker that your other types?
  13. Cracking looking dog that hound cross. How tall is it FP and what’s it like in cover?
  14. You won’t look back if you do get one. There will be lads off here breeding bushing dogs no doubt. I will prob try put mine to stud at some point but won’t be this year. He’s coming up to 5 now so I will look to have a pup from him hopefully.
  15. My busher came from Kent. Spaniel terrier. He’s capable of keeping a few Lurchers busy. One is plenty unless you are hunting massive pieces of cover. Things will tend to stay in and give them the run around. For the hedgerows and bits of cover here and there you will be fine with one busher. I enjoy ferreting with mine too. The only advice I would give you is to definitely get one. It brings the Lurchers on no end. We never used to see much on our walks until we got the busher. Wouldn’t be without one now. Just shop around and go for something that’s doing the job. ?
  16. Is he going whippet to whippet Penda?
  17. You know what they say blackie. Look after your lead......
  18. Whatever raw I can get my hands on really. Tripe, offal, chicken carcass, lamb ribs, rabbit, fish. Any off cuts the local butcher is chucking out. Always scrape in any table scraps. Never go off the weight of the dogs I just keep an eye on them. Some days they get more than others depending on what I’ve got in. Top up with kibble if I’m low. They do alright. No such thing as a fussy eater.....they just ain’t hungry enough. My Nans old saying. Mainly to us kids though not just about the dogs ?.
  19. Thanks for the heads up white feet. So is it the actual collar that perished?
  20. I’m old school mate and mark it on a map and I didn’t find many so can just remember where they are normally ??
  21. Ha they would be wasted on me. Keep it simple!
