I’m thinking of going with the wax paper bedding. Never used a heat lamp/tube. The kennel is insulated and ply lined. Even if it’s freezing outside the kennel is nice and warm when I pop my head in.
Plenty of rabbits about. Busher was yapping at something in the cover. You need more than one busher to work up there and flush. Cover is thick and large areas. Just good to be out ?
Was supposed to be going up home to North Wales this week but the van packed up. We decided to have a walk up on Dartmoor early doors on Sunday. It’s a great place to walk out and we barely seen anyone. The 2 dogs worked well and the young bitch is coming on great.
They are little crackers. I wouldn’t know where to start picking. I’d be happy with whatever was going or do what I usually do and let the kids pick ?. Be great to see how these get on. Hopefully people will keep us updated. ?
That would be my only worry with breeding. I would be happy to put the work in and give them a good head start. I would just worry about who they were going to. If you’re in decent circles and can have some decent people put their names down For a pup then it might be worth breeding.
It’s a litter sister to the one you seen me with at the comp Tomo. They are pretty much saluki collie bull grey prob a bit of whippet in there a bit back.
This cross should be able to take most game on a regular basis. Good and bad in everything. I wouldn’t mind trying this type but maybe with a spot of bull in it too.
Well done Trigger. Was a perfect night for it. Like you say, a good night to get the youngsters going. Had her sister out last night too. Youngest lad was itching to get out more than me and the dogs!
Brilliant weekend. Thanks to all for helping Oliver out with top tips and some fishing gear. Thanks to Kev for running around and to all the staff at the venue who go the extra mile each year. Good to see you all.
