Had a salukixhound years ago that i got fron JK,louth tigers da god rest him,he was a fawn coloured dog,very strong,went by the name of LUKE,good animal on fox and bigger stuff but also fond of mutton.

All it takes is 1 bad apple,was coming back from a days hunting-diging and same morning on my way over to my mates seen some lads along the road with lurchers and not a van or car to be seen anywhere.Back to when i was on the way home i noticed a chap standing on a gate peer with a phone pointed towards the field and as i looked out in the field i seen a couple of lads spread out with lurchers walking across the field,this was along the main road just outside a fairly large town,i some times wonder do they actually know that coursing hares is illegal,nothing against any man geting a run for hi

Remember many years ago been on a local river at the salmon.The night in question i had taken a young lad out with me as my usual partner in crime was lets say on holiday,not by choice.The chap that was with me was from a real poaching family and i actually thought he would no the ins and outs of the game but he green as grass.We made our way towards where i knew salmon would be lying in the river and on the 1st attempt we came away with 2 nice sized fish and so carried on up along the bank hiding our catch in a near by hedge.I made my way to the next spot and the young lad rushed in on the ri

Did the IWTF in NI make any attempt to defend terrier work or to fight back against the lies these wankers are writing in newspapers,after all isnt that why the federation was started in the 1st place to defend our right to use terriers in a legal manner as pest controll,they should be flooding the mirror news paper with letters of support for terrier work and all types of legal hunting. -
I have seen bitchs that will kill a sick pup,as you say pup was not feeding aswell as the others so maybe there was something wrong with it.

Would just like to say thank you to a chap of here on behalf of my diging partner.My mate had only the 1 dog and was lets say stuck.Last wk another mate of mine of thl phoned me up to say a friend of his was giving up the diging and would my mate be interested in a young dog,been dug 3 times.Well my mate jumped at the offer and sunday morning the lads arrived up with a couple of terriers of there own +young dog for my mate.1st place we went young dog was entered and after about 40 min was dug to with its quarry,dog was spot on,we then went on to dig all dogs that were out on the day,once again

Had a black n tan lakey bitch years ago that was bred to a bnt lakey dog,5 bnt pups + 1 white,next time she was bred it was to a blacl fell dog,same result,5 black pups + 1 white.The white pups from both litters went on to work very well,1 was bit through the neck by a fox and was dead before the chap that owned her got to reack the van,bled to death,the 2nd worked until a good age where she was eventually lost to ground in a cave in on sandy ground.

Couple of year back i done the beating on a friends shoot every friday as i was not working at the time.His shoot consisted of partridge,pheasant and duck +he also done a bit of deer stalking himself so each friday at the mid-way interval we were treated to a stew with all the above ingrediants and boy did it go down well,even the guns sat around the same table as the beaters and scoffed it up with no complaints.The shef was actually 1 of the beaters who after the 1st drive would head back to the shooting cabin to prepare the stew and when shooting had finished you were allowed take whatever g

Not into buying or selling dogs but i would not think that a 100% working terrier could be purchased for £500,and genuine diging lads would value there dogs a lot more than a quick pound.
