Not had nothing on the suicide ducks yet but others are having plenty of hits but not hooking up so they are modding the hook placement by using a stainless wire on the rear treble to move it further back . I've caught on the rat but I've had move missed hookups than fish on the bank because I think the body masks the hook a bit too much so im going to up the hook size to try and make it easier to hook up .

I'll be on the ribble aswell after barbel but I'm still fishing it now for trout and salmon . If you want a good day on the float have a look at the deeps , it's one a chuck for roach and dace and some good ones aswell plus you'll get chub , perch and barbel too . If you look on Shakespeare's YouTube channel there's a couple of vids filmed on the stretch , its free fishing aswell

I made an effort to get on with the mrs mates when I first got together with her only for her to accuse me of trying it on with them so lesson learned I don't make any effort at all to be friendly . I now get it in the neck for not making them feel welcome, just can't win with the fckin loon

For trout and perch you want to be using a rod with a casting weight in something like the 0.5-7 gram range and think Japanese brands like Sakura and majorcraft rather than the usual fox - drennan stuff you see in most shops . If you go in a shop and they try to tell you that you need something heavier like 5-20 gram rod give them a swerve because they won't have any lighter in stock and will try palming you off with something that's to heavy just to get a sale . I'd love to move somewhere else but the Mrs won't even move out of Accrington never mind another country . If I had the choice it would have to be America or Canada , not just for the fishing and hunting but the general sense of space and freedom. Every time I've had my dogs at the vets they go on about getting them castrated , every time without fail . When I took my terrier for his injections as an 8week old pup the vet said he would need castrating because one of his bollocks hadn't dropped yet and she couldn't feel it . I keep getting told off the lad I got mine off that they will come back on but I think that's it finished now and it won't be long before they are all gone . My Mrs son has a different kind of box that still has everything plus its all in hd . I bought some jig heads recently that had a warning on the packet saying that they may contain hooks and they were not for human consumption. I'd have sent them back if there were no hooks on them and why they feel the need to warn people not to eat a lead ball with a big hook stuck in it is a mystery.

I think it's an old fish that's been a lot bigger . The head and shoulders are massive on it and the mouth was huge . My mate was over the moon , he's a new member and only ever carp fished before . He was starting to get downhearted and thinking he would blank and then about 2 o clock his tip wrapped round . He couldn't get over how hard it was fighting and was convinced it was a bigger fish till he saw it . He's hooked on barbel now though

Went on the ribble earlier on with a mate trying to get him his first barbel before the season ends . I had a couple of chub and this 10.10 on boilie and my mate had a 5.6 not long after .

I recorded it and had a quick look before I went out this morning and I thought the same as you . He looks very ordinary and easy to hit and his power looks to come mainly from wild swinging punches . I've never really watched him before other than the ko clips on sky after his fights so don't know if he's normally like that but he wasn't that impressive

Got picked up twice after 2 muppets said I'd threatened to shoot them also got picked up for a post office job just because I knew the bloke that did it . Never got charged with any of them because there was absolutely no evidence or witnesses to the first 2 despite them telling me there was . They never even interviewed me and wouldn't let me see a brief for a day and a half then just realeased me . They didn't charge me for the post office either because I had a cast iron alibi and the bloke who did it held his hands up and told them I had nothing to do with it .

I got a zgemma box and got rid of sky and it's already paid for itself after a couple of months . Tried kodi on my laptop but for live sport it was always buffering . The zgemma is sound other than you don't get sky in hd on them , if you can live with that they are well worth getting

I've worked on farms for years and they are all the same . They spend nearly all their life in isolation and don't have many social skills so don't know how to talk to people . One that I worked for was an absolute nightmare. He was only a little fella but he used to scream and shout at everybody who he came in to contact with over the slightest things . To this day I don't know how he never got filled in . Another one I worked for was a woman who had took over the farm after her dad died . She used to fall out with other farmers and relatives for fun and the amount of staff she went through

Agm do knot2kinky titanium wire down to 6lb . I use it in 12lb when I'm perch fishing on the canals and it's good stuff .
