  2. well have you ever thought, that what you wright on public hunting forum , got to or supposed keep with in boundary of the law = catching rabbits . So regards filling the freezer , they not going to say knocking over fallow and roe, and few hares for the freezer , or what the bred for , we all know a lurcher catch a rabbit , if they got bullx , or coursing type , we all know what they bred for , so if sell ing them type pups , or person working that type x , it doing what it bred for , if somebody said that , i go along with it no prob , carnt see the confusion in the statement .
  3. why not leave it till mid august , might be bit cooler , then get it with the bike for a month , then e read for the lamp .

  7. whats the info with your dad and the wolf, was he a zoo keeper ? looks good size, even though the 2 men are kneeling down .But your right mate, regards dogs for wolves , apart from the wolves in Canda = timber wolves which were massive , they easy go 3 ft high and 12-14 st some males . you deff need 90-100 lb dog for them, what Dan on here said they need 3-4 dogs on a wolf , same as on a yote which are smaller but great fighters from what Dan said , another thig he said that when runnin7g timbr wolves, if a dog lost the pack=3 dogs , the other wolves would kill the dog , one wolf could kil
  8. Spot on, they right on there phones and either keeper wating for you or the cops. I've had few good mornings on the whites with my dogs, they just pop up when walking, or they sit tight when walk past them. That's the good thing with Buck he don't look like a lurcher. So easier to mooch about with him, where as old Bryn does looks like a lurcher lurcher.
  9. Make great rabbit dogs, nice size for that job
  10. you might do ok with her, he bit food for thought , i was going to send to Aussie whip , e spoke of big type dogs regards work etc,now from what Dan on here used say from America , who used hunt yotes with his stag hounds. He said 85-100lb was good weight for his stags , he did have big fawn bitch knocking 90 odd lb , that was good throat dog , fast and plenty of guts for the job. his dogs were very old line greyhoundx deerhound , with drop of bulldog apbt ,that bred quite true in size , in temp . So unless the wolfhound was used in pig dogs where there big heavy size came in handy,
  11. was she the smallest bitch then, meaning if other took to the wolfhound , they might bigger than her then.?
  12. Hi , mate well come to the nuthouse lol , regards long nets etc, a good lad on here Aussie Whip , he does alot with the stinkers / nets, he does get quite few rabbits, he got nice stag x whippet lurcher as well. he in Oz as well, send him a pm , he might have day with you , and help you out mate .

  14. spot on paul , ive got the colby book, and it great read, so is the stratton books good read , but both said, to keep in the fast lane with a bulldogs, you got to go where they been proper tested regular , not just a role in your back garden .?
  15. same again mate , with your dads dog,it had other breeds in the mix, just like the yank and Oz dogs ive said on my thread .!
  16. thats the prob, finding good type thats not over big, plus having guts in it, dont for get the dogs in Oz and America that were Roo dogs and Yote dogs, had other breeds in the mix, the yotes had bull dog = apbt in them as well. i used see a bloke and his mrs walk 3 of them in the 80s , when i walked my bull breeds , i had at the time few bull breeds who kick off with any dog if shove came to push, one i had was a fawn bull mastiff bitch 85 lb, very strong had to watch her with other dogs. this one day the 3 wolfhounds were loose , they came running over , there big daft lumbering things ,
  17. yep on the money, ok his last fight was prob one of his best fights , but wilder was always there for the taking , as in nutshell wilder carnt box , so was stopped quite easy really . regards him and Aj ever getting it on , well just what i read on me phone, pv and sky will charge fookin £ near 50 quid to watch the fight , well not me they wont , gone of Aj with all this blm crap, so i wont give any money they both him fury supposed to earn from the 1st fight = £ 70 million each, not from me they wont.
