They were me dad's really, I walk them for him, he used to know lads got them, and sometimes take them out with him there. This was in the 60s, bit more relaxed about staffs then.

Spot on mate, when we had our old line bred staffs in the 60s, ours were more like some apbt of to day, ours hit 15 - 19 in and 40lb - 55lb, ours were walked always on leads, and not public places, and if anybody ever seen them, they just thought they were leggy staffs, ours were all in kennel / runs, not really house dogs, nice temps, with us no good as guard dogs to daft, but wouldn't trust them with strange dogs.

Thanks mate, your spot on with what wrote. The dam was from Eastern European bred stuff, she go out in the day with the lads terriers and lurcher, a fit healthy bitch , nice straight back etc, good guard dog, but not over the top, a nice nature, and Razzmatazz, was big 28 in distance greyhound from Max stuff on here, he deff got good dogs in him. Well, hard to say really, I went to lot of places, he had roe, cwd, fallow. Munjack. What I got went in me freezer, it was great to somthing, more so if I had travled 6 hours round trip, and come back happy. As long as he caught something That's all that mater to me, not how many he caught. But where he really came into his own. That's true mate, know somthing not many people may not no, is that 90 % dog attacks are from male dogs, that figures from America, with dogs like, apbt, rottie, various mastiff xs, few bitches but male dogs were the main ones. Even if they ban breed, the macho people will want them, and not just blokes either, I've seen few women walking around with rottie, gsd, big powerful breeds when out, maybe feel safer.

Not sure if this true. But they reckon, brindle came from apbt, that they say was added to it years back, either way I think there great breed, very similar to a mal, think Dutch is a thicker set dog. As your dog got any sighthound in it, or just them 2 breeds, you still got your other mal lurcher? As bill ever phoned you, I lost his phone number.

Well, suppose it like most lurchers, that near enough 3/4 sighthound, it deff have plenty of pace, not bad stamina, as mal run all day, and deerhound not bad for big dog, the whippet, and greyhound, be crap wind, agilty wise if not over big, be good. The temp like been said, the mal, been watered down, so might get just the sighthound nature. But in saying all this, as most know on here I've got a 11 year old 1x gsd x grey, now he size as never stopped catching quarry, he pick rabbit up easy, had good bags with, had deer, few hares, and killed few foxes, he been great lamp dog deff. same here, what ive used for 10 years since ive lived here at this place by Hereford , are proper horse blanket , you prob seen then on the horses in the day thrown over them. there very good, got good lining in them, made from a canvas , so easy to keep clean, i just put on the kennel floor, and if really cold i put on my red heat lamp, but being honest bryn had good coat, and Buck deff , being 1/2 gsd he handle cold wet no prob, i always like a lurcher with good coat for that very reason .

are these welsh collies same size and temp as border collies ? i know the kelpie bit different , and deff the acd in temp and looks .
