Good job you new how to deal with the breed deff. I remember in the 60s when we had our old line staffs, my old man used look after them, .one day cleaning out the kennels, got the bitch in her kennel, now wanted to put the male in his kennel, he didn't want to go.he was 19in 48lb chain weight. So powerful animal, not like your fast lane bulldogs , there different level. But bloody he'll this dog was fired up, went for the old man, he picked up the shovel and so did the dog lol, it took me and the old man to push him back kennel bloody fast strong animal. Norm they daft, bu

Spot on, a 40 -50lb bulldog =apbt very powerful animals, but it the mind set of them, that no other breed like them. Once the red mist comes down, you won't stop them no way. Don't know much about these big xl bully things only that a pit in them and God knows what prob presa or and etc . Atleast you know what you dealing with a well bred bulldog=apbt , but them big xl things are unpredictable , that why there hurting and killing people deff.

Another bad one 24 year old bloke in south Wales attacked by pitbull type.was relative to family, walked the dog in a field , when it grabbed him , couldn't get off and ripped in to him , was in real bad mess. I was thinking that, out in field nothing by you hit it with. You be fooked.even though I like breed, and had.old type staffs that were like pits of today. There type animals should only be with who had the breed long long while. This pit, was only with them under 6 months , think it was a rescue. Why get these or big xl bully types, get bloody daft lurcher t

Haha true , right. You won't beat a none ped whippet, my little bitch catch the rabbits in middle of field , well before fence and hedgerow. She was 20 in 20 lb, fast agile on the rabbits dead quick, even if by edge she nail them, they deff great rabbit dogs, and like said the bigger males were spot on, they prob get few knocks true , but still great on rabbits at 23in 35lb. Just like some grews whippet x greys similar size to them none ped males. -
Guilty or not guilty ,think loose your dogs and motor. Norm in the arrest cops take dogs hold car there . If you still kept dogs, I let your mates hold on to them , pay you fine etc, get your dogs back once all this done and dusted. But I did read they have come very heavy on lads who been done before.? It tricky one this, if with dogs under control, but just trespassing be lot better for you. But if caught pursuing game with loose dogs, then totally different ball game. I deff get in touch Clive Rees. It makes me fookin sick. People breaking into somebody house, or mug

yeh, and thats what i said alot put apbt in the mix, for that very reason. ok your the expert on here lol , back on track do whippets have better feet than greyhounds . i did say that when i raced none ped whippets , never heard of bad foot probs , ok on flat grass , but could lads used there males on rabbits day/ night these dogs hit 23 in 35 lb strong little dogs pile into foxes no prob. just out of interest what type x do you think , be a good alrounder night/ day , that rabbit, fox, deer big/ small . i will admit that most of my hunting for 35 years been lamping , never had -

How can you say that. When you don't know what there hunting? What did say read a fookin again, I said the yote hounds in America are the ones I did take big intreast. As spoke to Dan lot of times about his dogs. And don't say a poxy 19 lb dogfox is tougher than tough 35lb yote .lol like said to him.on the thread you need other breeds in the deerhound, to make them.good alround hunting dog.? -

OK fair enough, yeh lot deerhounds have soft temps , that's why the out x to greyhound. Wheaten, apbt, to put more guts in them true. Justvout of intreast what breeds are in your staghounds ? I spoke to Dan that used be on here few times with yote hounds ,he said they basically greyhound x deerhound, bre over 100s , might been drop pit in them way back. But just bred best to best, and culled hard to keep good hard working line. 28-30in up to 100lb, but didn't like much bigger, great stamina, good feet, jaw, plenty guts to grab a 35-40lb note. Think we could breed similar in UK, but -

Maybe like been said, that extra bulk from the greyhound blood, would give poss feet/wrist probs. Just food for thought, I wonder if deerhounds and there is have feet/wrist probs. As a deerhound big dog in pure form, and deerhoundx grey big typex. My big gsdx grey never had feet/wrist probs Maybe it just greyhound then.like said alot of none ped male whippets were 24 in 44-35 lb strong little dogs. Never heard of foot probs. OK it on flat grass track, but couple lads used them on rabbits lamping sharpen them up. And them buggers pile into foxes no prob -

Nice post this, suppose really that's why the beddy x whippet, and the greys came in I did have none ped little whippet bitch 20in 20lb fast racer, and good on rabbits great little dog. But run over by car , but some of males down the track in cannock south staffs, hit 23in 34 lb, bloke there had few foxes with them.they were strong little dogs. Feckin mad once there blood was up. Don't know barb wire etc, these mad buggers run through edges anything no brakes you have your heart in mouth lamping them , prob 1/4 beddy x 3/4 none ped whippet male dog ne spot on. But if you -
Well, only going on my.old dog , never heard him bark in 12 years.he don't guard for a start, to friendly lol.his mom the gsd, was good guard but not over the top , she friendly animal as well. Maybe as was kenneld with Bryn as well made difference as Bryn never barked either. The only thing that did piss me off , was his fookin chewing he wreaked his kennel. Had cover it in thick mesh to stop the that. That lump on his side got bit bigger, he OK eats well, and plods along steady on the walks with little woody. But I am worried about it, I've got keep eye on it now, once it starts
