  1. is it just a type collie dog = sheepdog, or any terrier or lurcher in it . looks a great spirited little thing, i carnt stand any kind of dog with sensitive type nature , as it can really make it that much more harder to train . what ive found in my 7 years with lurchers, the more herding blood , they more sensitive , bryn my 1x border colle x grey was , big old Buck my 1x gsd x grey deff, strange really for such big powerful dog, but when hunting a different animal , he was full on for that job .
  2. true, and if Labour get in you be really fooked, with all there bunny huggers , the game fooked since the hunting ban with dogs, it neer go back to how it was. i feel sorry for any young person starting out hunting today with a lurcher or terrier in the UK it over, i always poached for 36 years , i did have bit of permission 100 aces were i once lived, but moved now by Hereford few shoots here , i dont lamp no more as such old Buck 11 now he old like lol , i just have quick flick about before i feed him, he dont run no more but still as look down the beam if it held a rabbit or a Charlie
  3. Lol, couple bags , do me. What's he say.?
  4. very true that, ve said on here before about my younger brother, he was about 19 , we had this feckin Dalmatian male dog, not over big say 24 in 60lb there abouts . anyway one morning as me and him were getting up to go to work, mom shouted down the dog out, who used sleep under the kitchen table . well my brother called him to go out, dog didnt want to go, so brother lent under table to grab him. the twat bit him right in the hand, bloody hell did it hurt him, he said it was like having your hand slammed between 2 doors feckin hell , we got the dog out . had to move the table out, th
  5. true mate , that bulldog = apbt i had was 19 in 58lb , he had good temp with people , ok with dogs, if ok with her, but if she kicked off, bloody powerful animal , looked similar to that dog above , mine was reid lines, he had some fair size bulldogs over the years . them XL things are just poor bred bandog types , in the wrong hands again ,poor people/ kids will suffer mate .
  6. only seen one in flesh , it had cropped ears , grey in color , i say prob on size to bullmastiff bitch, your still talking 85- 100 lb animal . as most know i had bull breeds in the 60s, old line staffs more like few pits today, and bullmastiffs , our were always kept in kennels/ run and on leads and kept away from public parks etc. that X L thing looked really up for it man or dog was on a lead thank feck. there supposed to be a ban end of the year by PM . but wont stop the killing people ad kids, because idiots still get them. there still bulldogs apbt about , with reason you can walk
  7. what size did the 1/4 wheaten x 3/4 grey make, bet that be very handy dog, with just enough coat . ps it wasn't the other way round was it ( 3/4 wheaten x 1/4 greyhound ) that be to much base blood , unless was working round a hole with terrier ) ?
  8. Very nice, would you ever breed of her, like drop of wheaten in a lurcher
  9. do you think it will ever happen mate, it supposed to be next march ? really hope it will so its just one champion. i think fury like you say would come in 19st, good 3st heavier than usyk , he fights at 6ft 3in , 15st 10lb last couple fights , same as Ali used fight when he was younger/ fit . i think fury prob win , his size prob be to much for usyk , but usyk deff no fool, he know all this , he could drop fury easy , only needs a good punch on the right place , and your out deff . lets hope it not bull shit again .?? fury fighting October , lets see how this pans out against none b
  10. true, all mine over the last 37 years even me bullxs were ok with people, all been soft with people more so this big daft fooker Buck 1x gsd x grey lol , i know he 1/2 gsd and looks bit gsd in the head , but if you came round at night, he think you taking him out lamping lol. ive said on here many time that, lot of people on my dog walk were wary of him, only because his size , etc, but he soft, he wasn't bred to guard he bred to catch and kill game nothing else . what jig said on here about his pure saluki being good watchdog , i did know a bloke that had 1x saluki x grey , that bark a bit
  11. haha fookin right, well my sister in law got a fecker, being honest it bit more stronger the the norm I/ grey , they did have a pre ped whippet, ivd long age then died, so they bought this bloody thing, i told get little beddy x whippet type , or nice none ped racing whippet, but no . like sais few times ilike the none ped racing whippets , some males make 23 in 34 lb, they got greyhound, and staff in there genes , game little dogs good on rabbits, and pile in to fox if you let them lol .
  12. 100% right , where I lived before, just outside w-ton, my house got done, we both at work at the time me and wife. Came through the rear back door kicked it in, took jewellery, telly , video player. They didn't hang about. Cops= detective, said norm they gone 7 mins, prob sell stuff for drugs. I did ask him, if guard type dog rottie, gsd,, etc would it have stopped them. He said if you want big dog like that in your house maybe, but a jack Russell terrier would be just as good, would let you know quicker, small and easy to keep. Plus alarm do the trick But a thief would poss go to hous
  13. A farm, where I used to go to sometimes, had a black gsd x collie, it was big prat, it was on chain in the day, and loose at night, real nasty animal. It looked lot bigger than and stronger than most gsds, farmer said the dam was big animal, OK not pure gsd, even my dog who 1/2 gsd x grey he was 88lb when younger and fit, abs greyhounds don't that big his sire razzmatazz was 74lb, he was big greyhound. You look at working bred gsds from Eastern Europe lines most males hit 80-85lb, these bred that way, there not like the crap week show stuff with poor hips and weak temps.
  14. true , there are gsd prob lot more calmer than a mal or dutch Shepard ok the not got bite like bandog or xl bully. my younger brother got bitten by our Dalmatian on the hand when he was 20 year old.not over big dog 60 lb 23 in there about, it got him on the hand, he said it was really painful, had to stitched up, we put fooker down after. ok not bite like bandog or xl bully thing , you get 85 lb gsd lock on to your arm , no sleeve just your flesh , it wreak your arm. i gknew bloke trained raf dogs, gsd and Dutch herders , them prats have you. like been said you have to be hell of a bloke
  15. He no dwarf mate, 6ft 3in, 15st 10lb, same size what Ali was at his best. He beat Aj who knocks about 16-17st, not saying beat the big heavy fury at 19st and the 17st Chinese lad ko juggernaut 3rd round. But he beat wilder deff. I think regards fury v usyk , it be fury hardest fight to date, and fury might just about get it, and get 4 belts then he pack in, but if rematch uysk will get the 4back.
  16. i sent you the pm back have a look ?
  17. spot on Gnash , my bitch i had that reid line bred , was not nothing like game bred bulldog, but fook me, you got a 19 1/2 in 57 lb powerhouse , even playing she wreak you . i told you before when my big gsd x grey Buck was 3 year old, he killed few foxes, locked on to bigger things , that fill me freezer , so he was strong fit working dog. i met bloke with a young pit x staff , ear enough pit i think, not switched on yet, was about 14 month brindle , about 19-20 in 50 odd lb, was ok temp , lad had him down field by the wood i go to for the odd fox , he was loose , he seen Buck then ca
  18. thanks mate, yeh found couple more , your right there just prob big wasp, funny thing not seen many wasps or honey bees this year outside , only them dead big wasps in my bungalow .?
  19. He just beat juggernaut, knock out think was 3rd round, just had quick look on me phone. Looked good ko, what's happens now then with heavyweights, I reckon it be good fight for fury, not this soft crap fight he got in October, with none boxer.?
  20. Alot better now thanks. I changed his diet, he as wheat free meal, and don't feed raw mince chicken no more, he has bit cooked chicken, put little bit on with his dinner. So stick at this, plus he only doing couple times a day, where as before maybe 4 times. I think as he got older he don't need the other food he had before, OK when was 5 year old lamping couple times a week etc, but he 11 now, he old like me lol, the vet said he looked well for his age, let's hope the the big old bugger , can go as long as old Bryn did.
  21. I liked the none ped racing whippets me self, nice for bit of racing in the summer months, and good for mooching, and lamping if need be. I had 20 in 20lb little bitch fast, and had few rabbits, with her. Some of the makes hit 23in 34 lb, pile into foxes no prob, if you let them, tough little dogs, in there genes you had, staff, and greyhound. A lad had 2 brothers who worked them on munjack, and few foxes. If wanted whippet, the lad who had them, said the good little watch dogs as well sharp /alert, he had outside together kennel/run.
  22. Thanks mate, yeh think so with Buck, I think your right prob be a ex worker from of lads who done a bit, OK won't work it like did lamping etc, but it be out every day mooching couple hours, just nice mid size male lurcher with good coat, that I me head for the future.
  23. It be very tempting mate, but I don't work them no more, I am 71 now fooked right knee, and other things lol. I did think when old Buck gone, maybe couple years time, if last that long. I might get lurcher pup, but it only be a pet, wouldn't be prob fair on it, so after be a ex worker say 5 year old male with good coat, as live outside. Funny thing I've never had mature dog, all mine been pups the last 37 years, nothing wrong with rescue, but you never really the true history of the dog or its temp. But no rush Buck ok at moment, hopefully change diet he better, he having tabs from vet an
