100% with strong SS collars , had mine 8 years with Buck, and good condition , plus it not the big heavy types, only the 1.1/4in ones. never had any prob working a dog with collar, Buck goes into thick cover after game quite alot , so it well tested , he was in thick gorse yesterday knocked out a munjack , great crack that, he come out cuts round his nose and eyes lol , nothing on the collar .! -

true Dave, i might be wrong here , but dont you need money to 1st get in to the sport, maybe his family as, 2nd he goes on about not enough blacks or the new word ( people of colour ) lol in his sport , why these 1/2 cast people feel hard done to , baffles me,. there no doubt about it he got a great talent at this sport , but as been said by Wilf , if so concerned about the plight of colored people , back his mouth with cash , he could give couple million to them , where they need it.

have to have a mooch up there with you , and Buck then lol

just got back in from dog walk, met 2 nice blokes with g/w/p pup only 3 1/2 months old , was walking through small wood , with my 3. they seen Buck and held there young pup told them he wont hurt dogs or people, they were ok after. got talking about there pup, he was nice and steady and quite biddable for young pup, i asked will it be worked bloke he norm does few clays, but might do the odd bit of picking up if when he older, i asked what he pay for him, said £ 1600 quid we spoke how prices have gone through the roof, even lurchers are fetching £ 300-500 quid, told him Buck cost nothing,
-
true , but in one way if it just going to be a family pet etc, well why pay silly money for a dog, they all piss and shit the same.As long as its got friendly temp with people/ dogs your 1/2 way there , just keep it on a lead for few months and bit of recall training it soon pick it up if young dog, older dog getter still, and if you have to pay say £ 120 quid to the pound , thats jack shit aint it .

Great vid, good fox control with dogs bred for that job. Ps. Trunk, what lamp do you use, plus is your red filter a flick on type already on the lamp, or did you make your own, they deff help once old Charlie gets bit lamp shy.!
-
that still for sale ? if so let me know !
-
yeh, but waste of time, as the beam just bounced back in to the lamp, as said you couldn't see more than 12 ft , but Buck had lot of stuff at night out the beam , all dogs have better sight in the dark, and gsd have brill nose finding stuff , and his greyhound in him he on to stuff quite quick, but suppose it the same for most lurchers at night .

Well i didn't relies how bad it was, couldnt see more than 12 ft infront of me, had old bryn and woody out as well, kept woody on lead as loose that litte bugger easy, old bryn dont go to far unless Buck knocks something up .Buck was gone for about 8 mins, old bryn had bit of a run he heard Buck going flat out , was waiting for the noise , if been a munjack or Charlie , not many rabbits here but was quite , but enjoyed the 50 mins out .

I knew a keeper who had a labx gsd as guard dog, this was very nasty dog bite no prob, I heard that this type x was alot like that. And quite few labs have sharp temps, deff with other dogs some with people, alot were blacl Labs, maybe it certain lines that are bad temps? think of the 3 breeds, Dutch shepard, bel mal. Gsd the gsd be more stable temp, then the Dutch, I did read that some Dutch shepard s had apbt in them, think these were PP dogs.
