    It's horses for courses, I have FAC up to .243 but the air rifles still come in handy for certain jobs.

    That doesn't sound ideal. My understanding was that it just clipped on the front and off you go. Looking on utube it looks like you have to zero it to each scope which is not what I was told when it was sold to me.

    As above, just traded my 550 in for the above so I can be more flexible with which rifle it goes on. I'm hoping it was a good call.

    Fishing, camping, using the long evenings to explore around the new house. Move my high seats about and shoot a few roe bucks. Before you know it we'll all be thinking about getting dogs fit again

    Start with asking for ferreting. It's less frowned upon than lamping. Once you've earnt their trust and they've seen the dog working in the day time is an easy step to asking to mop up what's left on the lamp

The rifles are; BSA Super sport .22 Diana .22 Webley junior .22 Diana 2 x BSA meteor both .22 BSA Cadet .177 Crosman rabbit stopper with all the mods and a 3-9x50 Simmons If anyone can give me an idea what they're worth I will put them in for sale section or even people want to see them they are in Cuckfield West sussex

    Thanks for your kind words. I will take photos and make a list of serial numbers as soon as I can. It's sad they have to go but funerals are not cheap and it wasn't expected so no provision was made

    A very dear friend of of mine has just passed away. He collected air guns and his widow needs to sell them to help pay for the funeral. I don't have any knowledge of old air guns so thought I'd ask on here. If anyone's interested I'll make a list and do some pics. Cheers

    No. I may not use them as much as I should what with the dogs and bigger rifles but I'd not sell them as they'd be really hard to replace

    There is a guy near me who hunts them as a pack. Never been out with them but I believe they have a fb page

    I met him last year on a trip to NZ. Really sound guy who showed us some excellent fishing and welcomed us into his home

    We have a livery yard and the stuff is everywhere. Dogs love it. If people want it I can supply but I'm sure it's just a case of calling your nearest farrier.
