  1. Glad you are back on your feet mate. How's the knee?
  2. I have one and would clone him if I could. He's been a really good dog for me
  3. Yes, mainly for dogs though. Sterile saline, gauzes, scissors, tweezers, glue, stapler, dressings, vet wrap, glucose etc. Been caught short a couple of times and now try to always have it with me in the car at least
  4. I have a jrtxwhippet, he's over 9 years old now and has been the best dog I have had. If I could clone him I would but hoping to put him over something similar before he's gone. He us actually my wives and when she got him she was told he would be too slow for rabbits and too small for anything else, how wrong they were ....
  5. Sounds like my kind of evening. Well done lads
  6. He'd be no good for me at home either but for where and how he's worked he is ideal. Only a young dog too so only likely to improve with age
  7. I was impressed with him this weekend. He does love to hunt!
  8. Why would you not collar them up? Isn't that the whole point of locater collars???
  9. Cheers mate, I'll speak to Owain and we'll make a plan
  10. I'd love to come out next time I'm up to see Wales123. I have a patxspringer pup, purpose bred busher but still only learning. Should see what I have got this season
  11. Far old time ago this post. I've had the garmin alphas for a few years now and wouldn't be without them. Well worth the money
  12. Whereabouts are you staying?
  13. I'll take you out. I was treated very well with invites while I was in Ireland so I'd be pleased to do the same. PM me
  14. My next lurcher will probably be a lab x. Won't be for a while though. Kennels full of busted lurchers
  15. As above, been using a Buffalo river one which was great but I've bust it so want another. I know cluson are good build quality but sometimes the beams too tight or their LED stuff and I know someone on here sells another version but can't remember who. What's recommended please?
  16. And there was me looking for something to do Sunday morn ... lol.
  17. Working lab over a racy lurcher bitch or coursing bitch. It won't be for a while though
  18. Cheers Joe, I'll give you a bell later
  19. Thanks, that's pretty much the plan. I'm taking camping gear and a fly rod and hoping to meet some friendly locals. I'm trying to sign up to their version of THL and see how that goes
  20. There will definitely be pics when i get back. I think I'll have to put some time into my fitness lol
  21. Flying into south island. I've seen his videos and the guy I'm booked with for the pig hunting is in the same area. There's three of us going and we'll have a car so can move about. There are lots of outfitters and one of the guys has family out there but it's always good to have options. It's more local knowledge I'm after. Also happy to swap days out if anyone from there is likely to be over here at any point
  22. Is there anyone on here with contacts in NZ? I am going on a trip for 5 weeks in Nov and want to do as much fishing and hunting as I can. I've booked a guide for a few days pig hunting but any other options or advice would be great to hear. Cheers

In all honesty he's never hunted on marshland so I couldn't say but he hunts in woods and farm land well enough for me

I have a whippet Russell first x who is capable of all of the above. I can't do pics on my phone but there are lots in my old posts. He's getting on now and lost a bit of speed but none of his drive. If I could clone him I would!
