Night vision tends to be digital of Infra red, whatever it is, you need quite deep pockets.

They do have a thump the 50g (but an arc as well), my WMR lives on Hornady 30g V-Max these days, does everything I need of the WMR.

Hi. -
Hi, a bit more about you would be interesting/useful/helpful!

Ok, what's a dog lure?

????? There is life outside Chester!

Shame, I had money to spend, makes no sense to me, a new member posting like this and not bothering with anything afterwards!

Full of can, maybe, perhaps, ignorance, etc....but if nothing else a good reason NOT to vote Labour! Labour calls for review of grouse shooting on eve of ‘glorious 12th’ © UIG via Getty Images Gamekeepers burn a grouse moor in the Yorkshire Dales. Preparing moors for shooting can also involve draining and drying the land, destroying wildlife. Labour has called for a formal review into driven grouse shooting to examine its environmental and economic impacts, as well as possible alternatives such as simulated shoots and wildlife tourism. Under such shoots,

Seen similar but nothing quite like that!

After a decent clean of a SAK some years back I had the idea of putting all the pieces into the dishwasher and gave it a good seeing to just to finish things off. I was more than a little surprised how mush top and bottom faded, but everything was pretty clean!

Not done than many yet, and lots still Vicam D. Perhaps I'm just old school but the Vicam works and I'm confident with it...……... Vulcan leaves me nervous!

Autos tend to be MARGINALLY less accurate than BA, but very rarely enough to make a difference in Pest Control. I have always been impressed with how good my Magtech 7022 is, even though it is cheap as chips, weights nothing and the trigger is awful (but getting better).

That first pic looks just like one of my shoots, but I guess a cut through pines looks pretty similar all round the country!

They are pretty fast, and noisy and more aggressive than 222/223. Many who have them love them, how many foxes do you intend to shoot, barrel wear will undoubtedly be a bit more than slower calibres but don't let that alone sway your opinion. Performance increments over a .223 are marginal, I use a .223 at 600 yards on targets without much issue, plenty of energy to stop a fox at that distance with .223 although I have never tried that far. Why do you suggest 200 to maybe 300 yards, fox are easy to train, is there a reason you can't get them closer?
-
Does anyone still use them? As already said, they are not allowed for killing rabbits, just demolishing burrows!

Looking for a new 22 sub 12

I have very little experience of Kral, but had the opportunity to use one seriously yesterday. I was impressed and checked their website, they have a big range and from my limited experience I would suggest they are worth a look! http://kralarms.com/en/ -
A .243 isn't many people FIRST choice of a fox calibre, but I have to suggest with the light V-Max they are excellent for long range fox. Its down to land, circumstances, and need! I shoot FAR more fox with my collection of rimfires than centrefires, but all my calibres are AOLQ so I take them at will with anything. 300 yards as a long way for most people on fox, but there are those that need to take them a long way (not many), the vast majority of mine are under 100 yards! If you have NO desire to ever go for deer, then get a .22-250, but in honesty I'm not a great fan, other

Something to brighten your day?

Love the sentiment, but the photoshop falls well short of expert! -
I was going to say that group is fine for field work, but seems rather pointless now after the fox pics!

Why use a Bore snake, they are NOT the one time does it all solution, and in rifles can actually cause damage. Bore snakes were developed as a quick pull through for shotguns on site where you couldn't clean properly, the reason being some years back many propellants were corrosive so it was a good idea to get them out of the barrels asap. Things have changed and the need for a Bore snake in Shotguns has virtually disappeared. There never really was a need in rifles, just the marketing people trying to convince the world they were essential. No Bore Snake will ever clean a bore

I quite like the black ones, but I wish she would buy me a drink sometimes??!!??!!

Only a guide...NEVER rely on this type of generic chart. If you need to, and can, shoot at 200 yards, then zero at 200 yards and you will know for sure. Once you are happy with your 200 yard Zero then by all means use the gun at (for example) 50 yards, and note results, you should then be able to check very accurately your 200 yard Zero by shooting at 50 yards. Remember, any change of ammo (even another brand of the same weight) you will need to start again!

That's a lot, even for two people on two nights!
