  1. So, you support her cause, and by implication are suggesting nobody should have touched her, given her every opportunity to disrupt the event and simply ask her to leave, and when she didn't, what then? It doesn't matter what party was going on (political or not), it could have been the Gas Board annual dinner dance, or the Butchers Conference, she had no right to be there and the event had every right to remove her! Just like if you turned up at Royal Ascot without a ticket and jumped the fence, for whatever purpose, they are at liberty to eject you. I can be confident if you tried
  2. I asked the question …. What exactly does a murderer/suicide bomber look like? because you implied she did not look like one with your comment...…... "A woman... dressed in a gown.... reading loudly about climate change.......... yep, I see it now, suspiciously mass murder". We have a very different view on the event and I suspect that will not change.
  3. What exactly does a murderer/suicide bomber look like? We have a very different view on the event and I suspect that will not change. But even she says she doesn't consider he assaulted her, so I'm not following why so many seem to have a down on him!
  4. Well done to him...did I miss it, how old is he?
  5. By all accounts there is currently an investigation taking place into how SECURITY failed to stop the protesters getting into the meeting! Mark Field should never have been placed in a position where he felt compelled to act, others failed around him, so as far as I'm concerned it was a good job he was there! Suggestions of him slapping around and grabbing a helpless woman by the throat are greatly exaggerated, look at the video, and again, why hasn't he been charged by the Police, it is only an assortment of tree hugging/PC organisations like Greenpeace etc that are saying he
  6. Its always easy commenting after the event, how would you have known at the time she was a nuisance rather than a threat? I'm not justifying her being killed, I'm suggesting the blokes action were perfectly reasonable. He didn't slap up a harmless female, he used proportionate force to remove a potential threat. I note no police action has been taken against him despite the video of the incident being in the public domain, they obviously consider he did nothing wrong! Even the woman said...… Asked if she felt Mr Field's actions amounted to criminal assault, Ms Barker said
  7. ...and IF your wife or daughter (or various other contributors) had been invited to sit at the top table and ended up spread all over the walls when the bomb went off the contents of a number of posts above would have been considerably different! We live in an uncertain and very dangerous world, if a protester/suicide bomber is intercepted on route then tuff as far as I'm concerned, (male, female, child, any ethnic minority or LGBT etc etc etc) and well done to the bloke for removing a potential threat!
  8. Always good to see the youngsters coming through. On a similar note I have a lad in my rifle club, I think he's 9 now, maybe 10, shoots F Class for junior Team GB (the junior team has a name, I think its called Dolphins but I'm probably way off the mark) but likely to be in seniors within days. Shot in 1000 yard competition with other Team GB squads last week and excelled all round, beating many much older and more experienced Team members!
  9. He didn't grad her by the throat, he escorted her out pushing her by her back, and the back of her neck! Look at it this way, what if she was carrying a knife or gun or bomb and was about to kill Phillip Hammond, don't you think that everyone would have complained and said why didn't someone stop her before she got to him!!!!!
  10. Not this site but yes, on a couple of others. To be honest I don't recall a year I didn't see it somewhere!
  11. Ha ha, I don't do the Palace but I did the Royal Box at the Guards Polo Club where that scarf just blew on her. There are 2 Ultabait VR Rat boxes either side of those stairs she is seen walking down, as well as a few others. Its right in the middle of Windsor Great Park, she had a fox take up residence a while back under the Chalet (Royal Box), also has to contend with mice, inside and outside, and assorted rabbit, hare and Deer, even the odd Pheasant and Partridge. Yep, even the Royals get rats!
  12. Quite often you settle down and get a couple coming out, but never have I had it like this, I was down prone knowing they were in there, then one came out, dealt with him, decided to leave him as it's hard work getting up these days...then another came out, then another, then another, one at a time, up to 7 in about 20 minutes, stayed down prone for about another 25 mins but nothing more. Damn, it was hard standing up after that! 18 in total from the whole site. Please note this is 100% Pest Control, my only intention was to stop them! Where they fell.
  13. At worst its some sort of feral that may have been playing around..so what?
  14. I'm with some of the OP sentiments, nothing wrong with these if you want some fun on the range, but I've seen wannabee Rambo's in the field with them and personally think that's dumb!
  15. No No No! That's not right, trying to turn a meat eater into a Veggie!
  16. Pigeons gone silly this year, never had so much grief, weeds also doing well!
  17. I didn't know that! My old Airsporter likes them, hardly ever used these days but gets the odd few down it from time to time! Just ordered another tin.
  18. I had a Premier with .177 and .22 barrels. Not sure what the difference is/was to the Senior, certainly look similar! I "guess" the Eley Wasps performed best as they were closest to a proper .22, good performance anyway at over 5ft lb.
  19. What ammo, is that the FMJ stuff? I have been known to check my HMR V-Max on the odd fence post, I tend to make sure they are fairly decent wood first so they don't go right through!
  20. Worktops (chipboard) will break up, probably best to shoot at the wood side rather than laminated side if you have to. Sand is the standard/go to back stop on most external ranges, but they tend to have a rather large bank of the stuff. Must be me but I don't understand if you have a 100 yard range why you can only shoot to 85yards!
  21. First time I've ever seen it, fully uniformed police officer and wildlife police officer, wondering around the lake today checking licences.
  22. We've been out a handful of times, he also came to Bisley with me as well, goes back a while though! I'll give him a call!
  23. ???? I go back a long way with him but didn't know he was into these. A quick word seems in order!
