There are very few people who use/are conditioned to use, .38 Special for hunting applications in the UK, although there are certainly some, 9mm must be virtually zero! There are still some LBP that use these calibres though. I am not sure what you are saying about .22, if it is .22 Rimfire it is very difficult, time consuming and not really cost effective to reload what will almost always be inconsistent cartridges!

As said by many here already, reliability will be the issue, and JLR are simply NOT reliable, actually they are terrible!

I have one site where I see white ones, but this is fairly recent, black in a few places, but not shot/seen one that looks like that before!

I commonly use .22lr at 200 at Bisley, it can give some decent results, but as mentioned above its a nightmare to judge in the wind and if its gusty probably not worth bothering.

Just picked this, I have no idea if its ripe and haven't even cut into it yet, frankly the only reason I picked it was because the plant was leaning a lot (I have loads of peppers on the plants). Is it any help confirming type of pepper? Cheers

We voted to leave in a democratic poll, Parliament decided they didn't like that so introduced a law that said we couldn't leave without a deal! That is UNDEMOCRATIC, we voted to LEAVE! End of! Any BS the remoaners puke out is just that, I don't see too many who voted to leave saying leaving without a deal is undemocratic!!!!!!!

I don't follow what the Remoaners are on about shouting about Boris being undemocratic with his latest actions. Is it not undemocratic for the opposition and all the remoaners to block Brexit!?!?!

I have never grown any peppers before but came by some seed, (not out of a packet) the result is 4 healthy plants all bearing lots of peppers. Problem is I don't have a clue what peppers these are (I don't think they are any of the hotter types), I don't know what they are called, I don't know anything about the colour (all green at the moment) I don't know what shape they will be and I don't know when they will be ready to pick. Pics attached, the largest is about 6" or 150mm. Can someone please give me a layman's guide and hopefully tell me the type of peppers they are, the we

Valid points and many calibres suggested here from .22lr to 22-250 (maybe more). I certainly take a lot more foxes with my rimfires than my centrefires! The HMR delivers cracking performance/accuracy/energy and terminal ballistics. The down side is STILL the ammo itself, although I understand improvements have been made (I don't have a clue HOW they may have improved it). Second choice for me is the WMR, but I have never seen it as a rabbit/crow type of calibre, HMR sits better there for me, and with the marginal edge on accuracy and flight path of the 17g V-Max HMR compared to th
