I need one of these, not a similar or better or equivalent, one of these, the only possible compromise is the year.
If you have one tucked away in a cupboard I am prepared to pay well.
Many thanks.

Who knows the reality??
I have shot at 1000 yards numerous times and V-Bulls (just smaller than headshot size) are commonplace with the right equipment and spotter.
Life gets more and more complicated the further out you get.
Don't take this as gospel but I think they have changed a bit over the years.
I had an S5 on my .223, must be 15 years ago, moderation was very good, but as you say it was really heavy, and so imbalanced the gun it soon went!
I think the newer incarnations may have shed some weight, who knows if this has effected the sound moderation.
HMR edges it for me over the WMR.
My WMR is very capable and gives me a lot of confidence, if the question was fox then as a general response I would probably have said WMR.
Add rabbit and crow into the equation and the balance tips to HMR in my opinion!
I am quite simply making the point the W&C Act, in simple terms wants rid of non indigenous species.
The fact that we have a non indigenous species, the CWD (escapees from wildlife parks by all accounts), which may or may not be of International significance in relation to the entire population is not the problem of the W&C Act, it is in contradiction with the Act to protect CWD, so why on earth did the Government give it a season a few years back? I haven't noticed any sections in the W&C Act that says we can protect non indigenous species if we have more here than anywh
HMR is perfectly capable on fox to 110-130 yards (some will say more) but I'm comfortable up to about 130, and easy on rabbit, crow etc.
Everyone has different requirements but the majority of my fox are under 100, so a HMR does it easily.
The .223 edges the, energy, availability, popularity area, but the .222 may just have the edge in accuracy and is a tiny bit quieter.
In the real pest control world the performance difference is hardly worth talking about.
.223 for me though.
I know, but it still makes no sense to me, on one hand the W&C Act "virtually" declares warfare on non indigenous species and then we give the CWD a Season!
Bonkers!
Why not. The CWD is non indigenous and I have no idea why it was ever given a season if you look at the W&C Act.
Should be eradicated from the Country, as should the highly destructive Muntjac.
Terrible situation, and the circumstances don't bear thinking about..
Only up the road from me, and virtually within spitting distance of Sulhampstead Police Training College.
