  1. I am truly moved and grateful for many of the recent comments. Also offers of help. I'm not sure if this isn't a bit too much of an ask but with the THL massive helping I remain hopeful. Many thanks to you all!

    Brexit

I don't follow what the Remoaners are on about shouting about Boris being undemocratic with his latest actions. Is it not undemocratic for the opposition and all the remoaners to block Brexit!?!?!
  3. Again, really appreciate but it is a different version (may be the only thing I can get though) and the site only serves the US.
  4. Appreciate, I've really been struggling!
  5. I have never grown any peppers before but came by some seed, (not out of a packet) the result is 4 healthy plants all bearing lots of peppers. Problem is I don't have a clue what peppers these are (I don't think they are any of the hotter types), I don't know what they are called, I don't know anything about the colour (all green at the moment) I don't know what shape they will be and I don't know when they will be ready to pick. Pics attached, the largest is about 6" or 150mm. Can someone please give me a layman's guide and hopefully tell me the type of peppers they are, the we
  6. It's for my girlfriends daughter who has only weeks left to live, it came out in conversation she loves the stuff and hasn't seen it for a while. I said I'd do everything possible to find her some!
  7. Valid points and many calibres suggested here from .22lr to 22-250 (maybe more). I certainly take a lot more foxes with my rimfires than my centrefires! The HMR delivers cracking performance/accuracy/energy and terminal ballistics. The down side is STILL the ammo itself, although I understand improvements have been made (I don't have a clue HOW they may have improved it). Second choice for me is the WMR, but I have never seen it as a rabbit/crow type of calibre, HMR sits better there for me, and with the marginal edge on accuracy and flight path of the 17g V-Max HMR compared to th
  8. Regrettably all the searches I've done have led to Out of Stock!
  9. It is a problem and there is a very important reason I need a bottle, I don't think I am going to find one anywhere retail/wholesale, its just a matter of hoping someone may have one lying around in a cupboard! Cheers
  10. I am advised they have not had any for circa 2 years. Any other ideas? Thank you.
  11. Would you be kind enough to tell me where please?
  12. I need one of these, not a similar or better or equivalent, one of these, the only possible compromise is the year. If you have one tucked away in a cupboard I am prepared to pay well. Many thanks. Deker
  13. They are not known for quality wood, but if it has been stripped to bare wood surely you can tell if its beech or walnut!?
  14. Can't get much more accurate than that!
  15. Loads round here, almost too many now! I can genuinely see a time they end up on the GL the way things are going!
  16. Who knows the reality?? I have shot at 1000 yards numerous times and V-Bulls (just smaller than headshot size) are commonplace with the right equipment and spotter. Life gets more and more complicated the further out you get.
  17. They thanked Cooler_King who's opening thread you hijacked! Is that you? Did you join as one name and change quickly!?
  18. Is that meant to be an introduction, and what is it doing on this thread, perhaps you should say hello first!
  19. Are you there? I know next to nothing about Croatia Hunting, and insight and some pics would be interesting!
  20. Don't take this as gospel but I think they have changed a bit over the years. I had an S5 on my .223, must be 15 years ago, moderation was very good, but as you say it was really heavy, and so imbalanced the gun it soon went! I think the newer incarnations may have shed some weight, who knows if this has effected the sound moderation.
  21. I use the P8 Compact on all my centrefires so that doesn't really help you, but sometimes the answer can be a trimmed barrel if balance is an issue!
