Have a look at the Custom rifle scopes UK website Degsy. They do a handheld NV rangefinder and a scope mounted one - they're both around the £130 mark. I've got the handheld one - it works well and, it's a solid piece of kit. The service from this company is good and, delivery was quick. Atb.

They're only pulling your leg mate That's a nice set you've got there ..... good luck with the sale.

I like that It's takes more bollocks than I've got though

To be fair, people eat dog in other parts of the world and, they'll suffer more in the days before their slaughter so, I could kind of understand it if this bloke did it because he genuinely liked the taste of dog and wanted a rare treat. But, reading the facts in the article - the bloke's a total feckin screwball

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you mate

Yeah, sorry about that

Give this a try mate....... Steve at Ripley rifles: 01773 748 353 www.ripleyriflesgb.co.uk From what I understand, he makes very nice, not mass produced rifles. If anyone can help you out, it'll be him. Good luck

If I haven't cocked this up totaly, I think, in a round abouts kind of way, your both saying the same thing

From the artice....... A large majority of people that have been pregnant or have given birth identify as women. We can include intersex men and transmen who may get pregnant by saying 'pregnant people' instead of 'expectant mothers'. BMA guidance "The elderly" should be referred to as "older people", "disabled lifts" called "accessible lifts" and someone who is "biologically male or female" should be called "assigned male or female". What a load of old bollocks Apparently you can now get into trouble for misgendering someone If you're born a woman, you're a woman. If

I'll have it at the full asking price if it tells you how to wash and weigh airgun pellets and, if Del gets a commission

Cheers mate It was a definite 'Off day' today - I got 1 shot off at a squirrel but, I had to get in there quick and finish the poor bugger off. It wasn't my finest hour But, I guess that's hunting for you. Thankfully most trips out are a lot better than that one Atb mate

How is made to shatter into tiny squares though. Are minute lines etched into the glass or something. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toughened_glass Spot on

Here's the boring, practical post ...... It's a health and safety thing - any sheet of glass that is designed to be near a person is now designed to shatter into little bits - shower screens, tables, car windows (windscreens are slightly different), bus stops, phone boxes. But, it didn't stop me from nearly shitting myself when I once found my daughter standing on our glass topped dining table It's better than the old way where glass could break into large shards and slice people. However, having glass that will shatter into little bits means that it is less tolerant to stres

The short answer is - no, not really. A good soft lead diablo will flare out with the pulse of air from the rifle, so it will form to the rifling in the barrel better. This combined with the extra weight provided by the density of lead will make the pellet fly better (better ballistic coefficient) and be more accurate over longer ranges. The best non-lead pellet I tried was H&N FTT Green. In an HW100kt that I used to have they grouped ok up to 30ish yards but, they spread fairly quickly after that. They did hit hard though - firing into a pine board they gave a good loud knock. Is

Good going mate The winds been going all day down here today but, I was at work. I'm off to the woods tomorrow morning - it should be all short range and fairly sheltered.

I'm all ready for the trick or treaters

It's fine - the bible only says you can't eat it's feet

Feckin' hell man, you need to get along to one of those events where they roast a whole hog on a spit I've never tasted pork like it - the cuts from the side of the face are very tasty - kind of juicy and crunchy at the same time and, full of flavour
-
I love pork, especially if the crackling's done nice This was a small slab of belly pork cooked with salt and honey - I ate the lot

Advice Or Recommendation
Jonjon79 replied to delswal's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
TX200hc - I had one in .22 and, it was excellent. They're well made and very easy to maintain. They're are heavy but, that, coupled with the softer shot cycle of a .22, makes them very nice to use. -
That's a cracking result Mark - you couldn't ask for a better endorsement We're quite lucky - we've got jasmin, honeysuckle and a whole bunch of other things well established all down one side of the back garden - there's always little birds in and out. I think they use it for protection.

Si Pittaway........ The Squirrel Vigilante.
Jonjon79 replied to ArchieHood's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I hate the phrase 'Air weapon' - it's been designed to conjure up totally the wrong impression. The Scottish government knew exactly what they were doing when they decided to use it. It's detrimental to the sport and to the impression of the sport to the general public. It's not a wording that you'll ever find me using. I own air rifles - that's exactly what they are - They have a long rifled barrel and, they use air as a propellant. I use them on targets and small game. I don't use them for defence or offense By the way, that's not a dig at you Bonham -
I understand their sentiment - they went to help the normal folk in a shit hole. But, ffs everyone has heard what the lawless corners of that continent are like - it was a stupid decision that has had consequences. I sincerely hope they come of this ok and never go back - their families must be pulling their hair out right now.
