  1. Of course mate, here you go ................. No trophy pics though - the ground was filthy and covered in chicken piss
  2. That is harsh - I hope they manage to make the memories they're hoping for and, when the times, little 'un manages to slip away peacefully. Atb to them.
  3. I know each forum has it's own rules, so, we abide by those rules or don't use the forum - fair enough. The pm thing sounds sneaky though. There are some very good forums - a few of the bigger ones have a mixture of competition shooters and hunters ..... there seems to be a funny ol' divide between certain shooters sometimes where different sorts don't agree with others. Indeed, I know a couple of target shooters that don't agree with hunting and, I know a chap who owns rifles and shotguns that thinks I have no business shooting animals with my 'toys'. I like this
  4. No worries mate - that sort of carry on doesn't interest me either I got the impression that a couple of the more self righteous members took exception with the way Underdog likes to try new things and test his abilities. ......... because they didn't like it, it's not right. As I say, it wasn't the forum, just some of the members.
  5. Yes, that was Underdog on AGF - a few members roasted him because he took a couple of rabbits at close range with a pistol.
  6. Nice one Matt I reckon if you rezeroed with the Superdomes, you'd be good for a walk in the woods mate
  7. I decided to give the Mk3 it's first proper trip out last week, on the rats at the manor house permission - there's usually a good few around the grain silo and the chicken sheds. First things first, I tried a couple of different pellets to see if I could use something with a bit more clout and less penetration. ....... I ended up opting for Baracuda Hunter Extremes In total we got about 20 rats - mostly off of the frame work on the silo. The Baracudas were cracking them hard with a lot of noise and, barely any movement after they'd been hit. ....... Mos
  8. Of course, not all testing goes to plan - this my attempt at a rezero at 5:30am on thursday. .......... I'd loaded all of the pellets backwards by accident
  9. A dead one's a good one mate I do like the way a .22 belts rats
  10. Cheers Matt It's amazing what ends up getting forgotten in the bottom of the shooting cupboard. I think it's fun to see just how crap some of these really are. Although, the FTT Green did surprise me by giving a pretty decent group from an HW100 a while ago.
  11. I agree mate - I've never tried the Daystate ones but, I can't remember owning a rifle that didn't like the JSB Heavies
  12. These would probably fill pretty quickly with a pump
  13. Cheers Mark Have a look at my handwriting mate - can you imagine how crap I am at drawing pictures
  14. No worries mate ....... This one's .177.
  15. I'm looking forward to hearing how you get on with this Jimmy
  16. Around 30 shots gives full use of the green band from 22 down to 7 mpa (220 to 70 bar). I haven't done a full chrono string yet but, it's pretty good on target through that range.
  17. Ok, gotcha Good luck mate - hope you get it sorted.
  18. It might sound daft but, try winding it out as far as it will go, then back in again. ....... it might be enough to pull it back.
  19. Have a look at that PP700sa mate - it's a PCP pistol and, the whole set up was less than £250
  20. If someone is practiced enough and has the skill to do it, sure, why not. Personally, I'm happier and more confident with a rifle I've no doubt that this would be more than capable at 15ish yrds - Zasdar PP700sa. It produces 5.6ftlb at the muzzle. ....... I may hunt with it one day but, I need more practice first.
  21. Enjoy it Del - they're a very nice air rifle
  22. Then, to reassure myself that all is still well with the world, I gave it 10 shots of JSB Heavy and, it was right back on song with an average of 710 fps and a variance of 4 fps
