  1. They were 4.5mm wide, wighed 10.34gn and were made of lead
  2. You won't see it on the BBC - a peaceful demonstration by white working class heterosexual males - god forbid The media and government will be too scared that this could catch on all over the country if it's publicised. ........ They'll be scared that they'll actually have to do something if this grows
  3. An intro thread from a woman?
  4. Nice job as always Mark - good to see Kaiser and the HW100 working for you
  5. Keep the 510 and flog the Galahad - there'll be enough money in that for a very nice back-up springer and some change
  6. Nice one, to both of you I've said it before - it's the blokes that make this forum what it is
  7. No but, apparently, using this moly on your missus is going a bit too far
  8. Is that a 510 now added to the collection Si?
  9. I watched that review last night - good review I like the format - starting with the technical stuff, then going for opinions, then into some actual hunting. From the shots taken at the range, it looks like it's got very low recoil. It was good to see Dave on the video - he's one of the proper characters from the club
  10. No mate - it's a Nikko Sterling Diamond 3-9x42 with a No4 dot reticle. It'd be absolutely perfect for that rifle if it had parallax adjustment but, being set at 100yrds, it can be a pain in the arse. It's useable but I have to be in the mood to deal with it.
  11. Apart from the pistol, thats the lot ......... Daystate Mk3 RT .177 TX200hc .177 Falcon FN12 .22 HW100s .177 Falcon Prairie cm .177
  12. Ok, to try to be a bit more helpful - this TX was already fairly dark but, a few coats of Phillips English Walnut Preparation oil darkened it slightly. It's the stuff that you rub in with your hands and allow the friction to warm it up. It makes your rifle smell nice for ever I've used that and Danish oil - both are good. I've never used Tung oil but, I do like the results in Jimmys pictures
  13. This had something on it. ....... Feck knows what though because it was already done when I bought it. I know that doesn't help much but, as everyone else is showing off sexy stocks ........
  14. I think that's the age old debate, just on a smaller scale. I suspect the answer will still be 'Personal preference'. I've gone .177 with mine because I quite like to target shoot with it and, this calibre will give me the option to join the competition at the club again. Also, if I do decide to hunt with it, it'll be used at closer ranges (rats in chicken sheds, birds/squirrels in the woods) but, I'm still happier knowing that I have a faster pellet with a flatter trajectory. For what you're after, I reckon a .177 with hobbys will put a nice hole in a rat but
  15. I liked him - his death was a real shame.
  16. No worries - being that small it'll be easier for more people to kick the shit out of the little scumbag.
  17. Welcome aboard mate Have a word with one of our moderators, Walshie - He shoots and he's Welsh Atb
  18. Jesus, that'll be some permission mate ..... Good luck I imagine that, being on Anglesey, they'll be more than happy for you to help out the reds.
  19. Good luck mate I haven't tried this as a platform with the legs out yet - I kept the rubber band thingy done up and used it as a monopod.
  20. Cheers Jimmy I think this came from the same collection that the Merlyn was in. To be honest, it's running so well that I can't imagine parting with it - it's just those electronics that make me a little wary.
  21. I did mate - it worked a treat ........ In fact, I'll concede defeat - this zimmer frame is a cracking bit of kit. It's so much more stable than the cheapo one that I lost
