  1. Good result mate I do like that Superten.
  2. Put up a picture of the breech area - as Jimmy said, that should show what it is
  3. This is always a very difficult debate. Personally, I hope it's a situation that I, or anyone close to me, never has to deal with. If that's truly what the old boy wants, good luck to him, I hope he manages to find peace.
  4. Is this some sort of really crap joke? Check out this little gem from their website...... 'The Council has been singled out following its successful social work recruitment drive which has led to more social workers than ever before wanting to come and work in Rotherham' They're probably attracting typical lazy council office workers that have sussed that you don't actually do feck all in Rotherham social services
  5. Very nice mate The kids will be fighting over who gets to use it
  6. You know what I think of that wood and silver combo Jimmy Absolutely spot on again mate - nice work
  7. Davy & Si do well with one of those - there's some good footage of it being used on VHTV
  8. As an old boy used to tell me - 'Up there for thinking, down there for dancing' Sounds like a cracking morning
  9. The story in the original link seems pretty tame when you see what else they get up to....... Google 'Ashura' - I won't put any pictures up because some of them look horrific. They get kids involved in this one. The pictures below are from their 'Urs festival' - apparently it's all to do with a dead saint. ...... They go around sticking skewers through their faces and, they seem to have fascination in pissing about with their eyeballs and knives There's some proper odd shit in most religions if you look for it - there's even some extreme christians that believe in and, take part
  10. Cheers Si I'll admit, I shot that Chrony once, a while ago but, I only just caught the plastic - now, it looks like someone's had a go at it on full auto ..... I've never shot a Combro though I reckon you'd like these retro PCPs mate ..... So far, I haven't had a single dog - 2 Supertens and now 2 Falcons - they've all been more accurate than me. Next time I get rained off I'm going to haggle the hornet Winter project! In that case, I hope you get some shit weather I'm defiantly gonna get it!it usually pi55es down on a Wednesday when the bloody shops shut bloody typical..... wante
  11. Will do mate One of my staff has just thrown me a curve ball with a 2 week doctors note but, if I can wangle tomorrow off, I'll drop little 'un and her mate off at school, then go walkabout on the way home (fingers crossed)
  12. Autism is one of the things where people used to be labelled backwards or retarded etc. It's a very real thing and, because of it's varying degrees, It can be very complicated to diagnose and understand. So far as autistics go, I think my cousin is one of the lucky ones - he's a high functioning autistic with asbergers. He's very intelligent but, he's absolutely shit at building any social relationships. Some have it a lot more severe. It's no one's fault - shit just sometimes happens.
  13. That's a nice story - I bet Dennis is chuffed to bits to be back home. I agree with everyone else - name and shame the c**t that sold him on. ..... I can't see how there can be any excuse for what he did.
  14. Cheers Phil I've always liked the 400 series carbines - they look like handy little rifles and, I've only ever heard good things about their accuracy. It's just the rear bolt and those spaghetti barrels that put me off - I'm careful with my kit but, I imagine that barrel wouldn't take a lot of stick if an accident did happen. The grip on this falcon is nice - looking down on it from above, its actually quite slender but, the shape of it means that you can get a good grab. I also like that it's got 2 thumb up positions I'm going to try to get it down the woods later this week
  15. Cheers Si I'll admit, I shot that Chrony once, a while ago but, I only just caught the plastic - now, it looks like someone's had a go at it on full auto ..... 16. To be fair, I actually quite like them. I don't even really mind all of their whoopin' and hollerin'. What nation in the world are we closer to for things like language and culture They've got their issues, we've got ours, it's just how the world is at the moment. I've said it before on here - I'd rather have close links with the yanks than the Europeans
  17. Cheers Si I'll admit, I shot that Chrony once, a while ago but, I only just caught the plastic - now, it looks like someone's had a go at it on full auto ..... 18. Cheers Rez Do it mate, I'm well impressed with these I reckon you'll like the FN range - I'll stick my neck out say it's at least as good as the modern rifles that I own And, they're going for pretty good money at the moment
  19. Cheers Jeff I'm hoping this one tuns out to be a good 'un - despite the weird chrono readings, it did well today.
  20. That's a nice looking thing I'm still a catty novice but, I recon some sort of tubes would work best on that Either way, good luck with it - it'd be good to see that work out well for you
  21. Cheer Matt I can see why. ...... I do think it is a 'They don't build them like that any more' kind of thing. Good to see you back at it mate
