There's nothing wrong with a smack when it's called for - I think the Scottish government needs to keep it's nose out. I earned every wallop I got as a kid - I even got a few that I hadn't asked for As well as teaching me not to get caught, it taught me respect and, I love both of my parents dearly. Now, the funny thing is, I'm the oldest of 3 boys. There's quite an age gap between us all. The old man mellowed with age - he was quite the disciplinarian when I was young but, not so much with the youngest. I've been in a stable job, in a position of responsibility for years and, I'

Thanks for posting Sis note Renos As I said before, I don't really know Si - I've only met him a couple of times at the club but, from that and the way he comes across on the VHTV videos, I reckon he's a good 'un and an ethical hunter. His response is well thought out and dignified - it's just a shame that he felt he needed to do it. Atb

That's Si at the front, Davy in the middle and, me at the back - this was a tricky permission so, we had to up the ante a bit. If you look very closely, you can see the Compatto -
Yeah only realised after I'd posted this It's still worth the exposure in this section though mate Those prick journalists and antis will target any form of hunting. Were all in it together

I think it's a bit like 'Feck me, did that really happen'. I can see why it was such a huge event when it happened.

90 yards at most is that it ffs there boy in air rifle section could took him out with rapid7 In .177 We'd have had decent enough camo to blend into the grassy knoll and remain undetected

If you look after it, it will last a lifetime Springers do usually like a lighter pellet. I like .177 - I use 10.34gn JSB Heavies in my pcp and, 7.33gn Falcon Accuracy Plus in my springer. It's always worth trying a few different pellets though - your rifle may well prefer a different pellet. All part of the fun mate
-
I've got some different .22s here Jeff - let me know if you want some samples to try mate

It's just practice, practice and more practice mate I'd ditch the Bisley Magnums and go for a lighter pellet - JSB Exact, AA Field, JSB RS, AA Express, Falcon Accuracy Plus - these would all be a good place to start. You've bought a quality bit of kit - it's well capable of 1/2" groups at 30yrds. Put in the time and, above all, enjoy it
