  1. Adjustable mounts are fairly pricey mate - if you have to go that route, I'd definitely recommend the sportsmatch ones but, it's unlikely that anyone will have some kicking around spare. I'm not a fan of shimming mounts - it can work but, personally, my choice would be the adjustable mounts. Have a look at Tawnado airguns and JS Ramsbottom - their prices can be pretty good for mounts. Atb
  2. Cheers Matt I've tried a few pellets through this - it definitely favours the Exacts. The whole set up is very light but, it's also really short so, if I'm honest, it's very bullpup like to shoulder. For standing shots, it's easier to hang around on target for longer
  3. Cheers Jimmy I haven't had chance to get out at all lately mate - work have had me working like the proverbial African import for a while.
  4. There's nowt wrong with it - I just like calling it an Effin 12 instead of FN12 I've been playing around with zero distances and power levels lately - at the moment it's zeroed at 27yrds, just about right for a bit of woods whacking and, it's putting out JSB Exacts at 576fps The shots below were done before work this morning - 27yrds indoors - 5 rested and 10 standing. The zero could do with a tweek up and left but, I'm happy with how it's performing
  5. Good review mate I've had 2 Edguns now - if this is built like those, you won't have any problems.
  6. He'll still have a good Christmas in nick - he'll be legless all day
  7. That's the kiddy ...... CRS do the adjustable mount as well.
  8. Cheers mare The skin on those silos is thick enough - even if you shot it from a few inches away, an airgun pellet won't penetrate it. We do our best not to hit the silos - the Baracuda Hunter Extreme pellets seem to help with this. They give a nice wallop and, seem to slow down fast on impact, giving less pass-throughs.
  9. I agree Kay. I think it's very rare that anyone is born bad but, this one is definitely a thoroughbred wrong 'un.
  10. That's one nasty little c**t that the world could do without.
  11. I almost went for one that was up for sale on another forum recently ...... I'll give that some serious consideration I've just got to learn to sit still first
  12. That looks a bit like an FX Streamline. I'll look forward to reading your write up on it after you had a good play
  13. I heard he's since swapped his dog for a .243

    Airbags

I'm glad your missus is ok Walshie As already said, they don't usually need a big impact to go off. I've seen one go off when a car bumped the one in front while traffic was crawling along at less than 10mph. If the car was bought used, it's possible that the previous owner had them disabled - some airbags can be proper nose breakers - not what you'd want in a minor collision.

    Porn.

Well, it's made my mind up - I'm definitely going FAC ......... Just so that I can sit there polishing a shotgun when a lad comes round
  16. It's Africa - it'll always be a kind of quid pro quo - one greedy liar swapped for another. Who's turn is it next to starve their people for off shore accounts, new Mercedes and colourful clobber?
  17. I need to learn patience for woodies - can't stalk those buggers Nice work again Mark
  18. I do like that 98 Rez And, I'd expect nothing less than some shit hot pictures fom you
  19. If you've got permission to legally take them and, you've practiced to ensure the best chance of a clean kill, a head shot from an air rifle will kill duck and geese. If you know what you're doing and you're going to use the meat, why not hunt them?
  20. Personally, I hate messing around with PCPs - Springers, yes, all day long but, high pressure air gets me worried. If you're determined and technically proficient, do your research, make sure the rifle is completely empty of air and, give it a whirl. Good luck
  21. ....... I could well believe this is a real poster
