  1. Cracking shot Mark Those branches do look a fecker.
  2. Good purchase ....... I reckon I'd have gone for that at that price. I like those ones with the 2 piece stock.
  3. Hi Davy, It is still a 25mm tube. It does have IR but, it's an odd set up - it's not a dial to illuminate it - there's a button on the end of the parallax knob that you have to tap in the middle. I say it's odd because it's not a push button. I did manage a short trip to the club today - to be fair, the fine ret does work quite well. I still prefer the original though. All in all, it is a good scope
  4. That's a nice job again mate The silver and wood does look good. I was round Davys once when he was polishing up TX parts to a shiny silver finish - I never did get to see that one all back together
  5. You can send Jeri Ryan round She plays Seven-of-Nine on Star Trek Voyager .......... See, told you
  6. Cheers mate I'm hoping it'll be a nice light(er) weight hunter. These new SCBs are more fussy than the original version - I don't think that being finer helps, it seems to make it look more busy.
  7. It's not too bad, it's on the end of the parallax knob - I've just got to get the hanf using it properly.
  8. Now you've done it - we're both in for a bollocking when he gets back
  9. You haven't? ....... I'm a proper sci-fi geek on the quiet The covers on this still feel very plasticy but, they move into 3 positions and stay there well. Maybe the window is for seeing the parallax but, that just seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist Decision made - I've done well over 50hrs this week and my numbers are good - I'll pop in early, get the paperwork done, then take the Falcon and the TX to Black Cat
  10. It is a useful ret Rob but, I can see it getting lost in the background from time to time. It might be ok once I get used to tapping that IR button thingy. I did wonder about that little window - there's no detail on the top turret though
  11. Cheers Jimmy Do you think it'd be ok if I drew a pigeon round my shots?
  12. Cheers mate ....... I'm still impressed with these older rifles.
  13. View Advert NV Laser range finder ***Now sold*** ***Now sold*** This is the hand held NV Laser range finder from Custom Rifle Scopes UK. It's an excellent bit of kit - l just can't handle NV that I have to put my eye up to - it makes me feel dizzy. Because of that, this range finder has had 1 trip out and, never been used again. I've owned for a few months and, it's in 'as new' condition. It comes with the original box, heavy duty carry bag, instructions and, 4 spare AA batteries. The unit also ha
  14. View Advert PAO Emerald 3-12x44 Swat scope. ***Now sold*** ***Now sold*** PAO Emerald 3-12x44 Swat scope with red/green illuminated mildot reticle. The scope is in as new condition, having spent less than a month on my FN12. Only selling because, being the Swat version, it's too short to be able to fit my NV kit when using double screw mounts. The mounts and PA wheel that come with this have never been used. The illuminated reticle works perfectly at all levels but, this will not come with a battery.
  15. View Advert Nikko Sterling Diamond 3-9x42. Nikko Sterling Diamond 3-9x42 No4 dot reticle. I bought this scope used a couple of months ago. Since then, it's had an easy life on my Falcon Prairie. It's a 30mm body and, it's in excellent condition. It's not parallax adjustable and, the factory reset is too much for airgun ranges - it's a shame because I really do like it. I did think about trying to reset it but, I don't know what I'm doin
  16. As good as the Nikko Diamond was on my Falcon Prairie, the lack of parallax adjustment started getting on my tits - I'd be ok for a few shots but, then eye strain would start kicking in and, I'd find it hard to adjust. I'm sure I missed a few easy shots because of parallax error Anyway, decision made - it was new scope time I decided that I still wanted something mid sized - the Nikko is a 3-9x42 and it sat well on the rifle I had a bit of a look around - I also wanted something that I could use with a NS Viper. ....... I found an MTC Mamba Lite 3-12x42
  17. Most of us do. I do. This time of year, they'll be tied up somewhere while I carry on hunting. When I'm done, they'll be taken down, photographed, then gutted and bagged The picture in the original post looks like someone may have been disturbed before they could gather up what they'd shot.
  18. That looks really nice - I could that twice
  19. Just turn it down a bit with that little thermostat
  20. .............. The food I mean - what you do with your missus is your own business
  21. Very nice mate Enyoy it mate, it looks lovely.
  22. Nice work Mark Can't really tell from the others but, that was some shot on that first pigeon And, of course, a dead Magpie is always a bonus.
