  4. How the f**k can you say owt. When you've knocked ya dogs up before the seasons start mate come on fella. Lol. Shaking the lamp old school. Id expect your dogs to stop the quarry where you live on decent open land. But then again they got shaken off by a 3/4 levy
  5. From a man, who has set dogs onto most of the uk wild life spectrum , what an absolute cruel mechanism of death
  6. You leave old mitre alone . He's the only sensible bloke in this flea pit .
  7. Definitely. You'll see idiots putting the full beam on the quarry & dog. Like the Blind leading the Blind haha the poor c**ts Lol.
  8. So had planned to hunt with a pal and his beagles but rain and wind put that off. Bout lunchtime the weather eased off so I went local for a few hrs. Bolted a rabbit the very first field I hit, a field that's been bare of rabbits since last yr. Got a chase off a big ears,Zara viewed and chased hard, she's fast but not lurcher fast so puss was safe as houses. Got a good mark in the small woods accounted for one big rat. Kept mooching flushed plenty and dogs were working well. Got another mark on a muck hill, two bolted and gave me the slip. On way home got another good hunt on a rabbit in

  14. https://youtu.be/U4zE8MNz5w8?si=FP8hHGDJ90VvhONp They would be useful where animals other than vermin might ingest poison. I wouldn't mind one for my bird room. But the sound of it triggering might induce 'night fright'. The birds panic in certain circumstances at night and dash themselves against the wire. They can sometimes break a neck. So I'll give it a miss.
  15. Today
  16. Quite regularly see wild ones here, only last 10 year mind, black as your hat and some of the dog ones are massive. Coming over Watership Down at about 5 - 5.30 am not unommon to see them, either darting into the verge or run over. No idea what they're eating as there certainly ain't the rabbits here that there used to be. Personally I'd stick to ferrets mate ( tried/ tested etc). I get the idea of something different but for me.. my old family of small, skinny little ones do OK. And we got mostly deep chalk earth's here.
  17. I had a dog direct off of staley, by Rambo x treacle. Many years ago, can't remember the exact breeding, but rusty definitely had lakey in him, Rambo was pure k.c. I think. The dog I had was a proper wind bag out in the field, you could hear him singing for miles! Ended up a house pet with my mother... Yokel

  20. Was out once, been andv dug a dodgy place on midnight manoeuvres On the way home,I had the studs snap on me ,on the rear drivers side wheel on a dishatsu fourtrak...alloy wheel and chunky tyre came past me going down the hill and smashed through a set of big wooden gates,up the gravel driveway ... coming to a stop on the bonnet of a shiny new X5,had the terriers in the back(bashed up after a face full).was flapping .ran up the drive and grabbed the wheel, ran back down , wheel straight in the back, turned the front hubs on by hand...and was f***ing gone as fast as I could...up the road with 3
  21. Normally used when a dogs getting pulled all is slow with no mouth. Shaking the lamp old school you bangers
  22. Must be the little bit on the top of an i Blackmag?
  23. Im glad you told me that bangers you can always tell how much someone has done on the light when you pass them it
  24. If they didn't have water in....could they potentially get back down the tube again...only to get to the trigger and tucked back in....be interesting to see the inside and exactly how it all works
  25. Yep looks good all week to be fair, try get out most nights this week before the wind and moon are back against us
  26. Had a look online. Less than £ 200 quid. You don't have to fill it with water either. So no welfare issues to worry about. However you would need to buy one of Mchull's mutts to course them once you open the top. They would miss a lot, but the odd success would give them confidence. The last success they had was with a pregnant hare, which was hunted up and which was also suffering from the RHVD virus. Mc's hounds from Hull would be useless in the slop. So you would have to pursue them yourself with a stout stick. Don't lend it to Mchull though, he would no doubt use it
