Arry started following Hearing aids
-
Yeah I have them, bought them from Specsavers. Rechargeable so no replacing batteries, not cheap mind. They are good with a bluetooth app so you can adjust to suit but I don't like wearing them if I'm honest. Watching TV is much better with them on and hearing small bird song. When they tested my hearing low sounds was still good but high pitch stuff like small birds was gone. If I'm ferreting or just out mooching I don't usually wear them. I've had this ringing in my ears since my mate fired a 12 bore right next to my ears out shooting Foxes about 50 years ago. It was pubs with that bab

You boys have just as good lurchers on your side of the pond only thing is I've noticed the price tags are unreal don't be fooled by them sites on Facebook half the dogs are middle of the road and there lurchers are killing cubs give them to November you'll see it'll slow down once the tight foxes come out and hares are stronger weathers worse most them sell up cause they've found out there lurchers aren't up to it mate as I say don't be fooled by 30 second videos of dogs slabbering over cubs or dogs standing at a hole covered in blood

Tidy job, I did one last year….a 7 meter by 5 meter commercial job with steel box tube hoops, 7x2 timber kick plates and all fixed down to posts driven into the ground. Added weed suppressing under layer and 3 inch of stone to the inside and it was brilliant, grew all sorts of stuff in abundance….then last January one of our big storms came through, tore it clean out the ground and dumped it across my driveway in a million pieces of twisted steel and timber and that will be the last poly tunnel I do ! Big storms just level them.

Aussie Whip started following Hearing aids

An old mate, 86 is always going back and getting his hearing aids adjusted or replaced. You can hear his TV half way up the street, lol. The batteries don't last long. Between that and his bad eyesight he's having a hard time but I think it's more that he's just really old and everything is failing more than the quality of his hearing aids and glasses. I think it's more brain related.

That's what it's all about mate putting the time and work in when young

NHS are just as good. My wife swears by them. Bluetooth attaches to an app on your phone
-
I wear them. NHS ones are just as good as private. They supply Bluetooth ones now with an app. Brilliant. I've also got a tiny box which connects my hearing aids direct to the telly. Since you are obviously getting on a bit. I can give lots of advice on the ageing process. Industrial strength Viagra, wicker coffins, Tena for men, best pills for arthritis and the cost of installing a bidet. I'm always here for you.
