I don't think he has any ambition to run the conservative party. Why would he? In the past maybe I don't know, but I think he's fairly aware of the public distrust/dislike of the labour and conservative lot especially whilst surrounded by reform, I also imagine an added bonus of defectors is it's a knife in the side of the Tory party who shunned or mocked him. I am posting on politics, Jesus Christ, I drove from home to my parents "home" today, only a few miles. Passed through a place that I know well and when stopped at one of the many road works spotted the Union Flags on lamp posts. Left and right side of the road. For at least a mile. No idea who put them there but obviously not kids even though half of the flags were upside down. Strange days indeed.
