Went back to the creek today. When I started walking I could smell crawfish in the air.The hairs on my neck stood up.I knew there was an otter somewhere upstream. After a couple hour walk I was at one of my best spots. There was the otter. He was going upstream to my next best spot.I knew I had to convince him to come back.An American dog otter has two weaknesses. His vision and his arrogance.I stood still in the creek and squalled like a coon. The otter came back like a torpedo looking for a fight.I stood still. He finally got close enough he could smell me and knew he - Yesterday

We have approx 10,300 acres much of which does not always produce the goods but we have settled on the perms which are no more than 10-15mins drive and to be honest they are the ones we love the most. The big perm we gave away is about 45mins drive and we cannot be bothered. lost the plot........................well perhaps.

Some of the packs up here have one or two Welsh hounds in them; Cheers.
-
mine seems to be robust, she can take a knock quite well, can’t speak for greyhounds,My first deerhound broke his neck at 11 months when running though. The bitch i have now is completely different to him she has a bit more go about her.
-
Welsh hound xbeagle xharriers mate
-
Sewing patches and repairing nets is harder than knitting them. You have to think a bit when repairing.
-
Just wondering how are deerhounds fragile ? I thought that one good point of them is that they are quiet robust
-
Your of an age when you cannot partake in country pursuits, Rubbish , I'm.clocking 82 , out at least 3 nights per week,, I don't get in till turned 4ish most mornings, it's in my blood, I have use os one pure salukis, plus a saluki greyhound, I can't wait for tomorrow night, it's just me n the dogs, until.i.kick the bucket
-
No I doubt it. Not heard of any for years. Plenty of rats about though
-
that blue Merle gave it away haha
-
I know it's a terrible pic, but I didn't intend putting it on here. It's a quarter pounder burger , but it looks massive because it's on a side plate. It's pheasant, bacon , and black pudding, with an egg in the middle, and grilled mature cheddar on top. It was feckin delicious .
-
I was meaning my red feathered bitch mate She has more coat then a smooth feels the heat more I've never clipped her
-
Do you clip his coat ? My brother gets clippers to his , don't know if it really helps but he reckons it does.
-
Fragile dogs these days are deerhounds and greyhounds . Recipe for disaster.

I'll have a dig behind the sofa and see what I can rustle up mate lol..£8m! Jeez! It is a lovely spot there, but if I'm honest, we wouldn't stay again, it was full of the type of people I can't handle, wax jacket, hunter wellies, black lab, spotless defender or discovery.. bit of tweed and from London (or nearby) pretending to be country types.. that's the only problem with that area now (as you know).. but the scenery and beaches are stunning.. Yeah you kindly advused me about that mark and me and Fin had a couple of turbot off it on an early morning fish.. -
Is there no tropical fish left in there at all now? Some of them tilapia etc are tough buggers.
