I have been cajoled into going camping tomorrow. Not proper camping. A mate as been fettling an old car and wants to give it a bit of a run and I'm the only person he knows daft enough to go with him as it will probably break down. I gave my camping gear away years ago (loaned out to nephews but never returned). So went off to Go Outdoors to buy a cheap tent and sleeping bag. I looked up when in the camping section and then I saw it, a terrible sight. THE CYCLING DEPARTMENT!.

Sorry like but I hate cyclists. Not all of them, just most of them. The ones that I come across who try and run me or my dog over. It felt like being on an hostile alien mother ship or Hitler's Wolf Lair or turning a corner and finding myself in the middle of a LGBT rally. It was all there. The stupid hats, lyrcra shorts, cycling shoes, and hundreds of bicycles. And people where shopping for this stuff. Most of the people where dressed as grown ups and looked normal, but they weren't, they were cyclists!

Made my purchases quick smart and made a sharp exit. Then took a long shower soon as arriving back home.

them old Bedfords...we're common place on the roads years ago...along with the TK model ...all the army trucks were tk....

Had a few old Bedford TK's in my time, horse boxes both petrol and derv, little tipper and a mint nick 7 1/2 t hiab , never had TL before but the same running gear as such. This ones a little 220 turbo and it's only a 6 ton lorry with a short  wheel base, just big enough for my tribe and yet small enough to not have to drive a big lorry everywhere, plus  i'm in to my vintage motors and i will be taking it to some shows and rallies so a few different time ahead for sure and can't wait to get going on it...

I will get on that blog thing once i get it back home...:victory:

Hi guys , bit of a long shot , but I’m due to imminently move to the plains of my people and have heard rumours of a firemonger of weapons ??
He is said to be a purveyor of the uks finest steel tomohawks and one of the last true dwarf weapon masters
if anyone can point me in the right direction , I’d be greatly pleased

I want to purchase a pair of boots for the colder weather, I do a lot of walking, and some trekking about the hillsides and trails. I do not want "winter boots" but rather boots that would be suitable for a cold day, but would work with layers of socks rather than thick heavy boots. Several people have told me Meindl is an excellent brand, and that is great, but what kind ? Hiking ? Walking ? Do they make them that they would serve the purpose mentioned above ? Any specifics to look for in a boot for this purpose ?
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn

Sorry gentlemen to bother you, but I have come to my wits end. My neighbour across the way lets her dog roam as it please when it comes to shitting and urination, she is too lazy to actually take the dog out herself. He seems to have taken to my property and a certain area just under my bedroom window. I do not want to hurt the dog for the sake of her ignorance, but I do very much need to stop him from doing it any longer. The grass and  the shrubs are dying and turning brown and the flowers are just rank with smell that floats up through my bedroom window.
He is a VERY OVERWEIGHT beagle and leaves behind some damn good deposits.
I am wondering short of doing something stupid, what can I do to deter the dog from that area or any patches of garden I have? I plan to go to the council about the problem, and lay some of it on the town manager who is an acquaintance of mine, but in the meantime, any tricks out there to make my flowers and bushes unsavoury.
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn
